HOT TIP

To be at your best on the day .. 22 Jun ..
make sure you have plenty of wetsuit
booties sessions in the meantime.

Nothing worse than re-adjusting to booties.

Sincerely

Dr. SUP

HOT TIP 2

At this stage you should be building up a conspiracy
against your closest rivals .. occupy their favourate
carpark .. death stare them .. & etc.

Sincerely

Dr. SUP

pretty funny 2 MT ,

so which of you blokes will be in the over 45 s so I can give your profile the evil stare on seabreeze . by the look of Bill he would be in the under 25 s division?

is there a 47- 48 year old , 70-75 kg novice division that only people on the northwest coast that own a yellow board and wear a black and blue anchor wetty can enter ?, have to give myself some chance of scoring a prize

serious question where is the Tassie home of SUP ? , Bridport ?

i think your safe from 2MT, he stole my parking space outside the bakery so its on now in the over 50 division, maybe they need to look at an over 65 division for 2MT.
Carlton River is the home of SUP in Tas, i think they only ever get the odd Launie sup rider at Bridport.

Hey team. What are the age divisions for this non serious fun event anyway, over 40, 50, 60, & open? Is there a compulsory beer drinking comp on the night before & the same night for all age divisions?

Yep, sure is pardner,

We were hoping that you or Spencer
would raise the subject and take on
the organisation of those events.

It's a very necessary part of the comp
and thanks for raising this issue.

Just to clarify for interested parties - This is not a beer swilling weekend for south coast sup bogans - it is a fun, social competition weekend for the whole family SERIOUSLY.

Just in case anyone is thinking about playing up "the barnyard vet" will be testing all entrants for substance abuse prior to the start of the comp' and trust me 'you do not want this man taking your temperature' ?

[b]HOT TIP 3

Beverages are a very important consumable to have
on the beach at all times .. beer, for energy and overcoming
pre comp nerves ( but if you are from the south bring your
own eski of Cascade .. Boags upsets the digestive bacterior )
Also be prepared to go out for capachinos .. to bribe the judges.
Judges can't resist a chino and chocolate eclaire .. as a matter of fact
chino and choco eclaires were once banned from comp areas .. the
placings were being effected too much.

Sincerely

Dr. SUP

Terrible day for anyone who surfs Roaring beach.
R.I.P The Roaring beach car park rooster is DEAD.
God bless the little fellow, he will be sadly missed.

I will snap a few lips and carve a few snapbacks for the little guy tomorrow.

if they don't want to come last that is

We all ripped for the deceased carpark rooster.

tassies current no.2, no.3 and the over 65 no.1 had a great coaching session in some solid overhead waves, we had to cut it short after 3 hours and hundreds of waves as a spy from the north west coast turned up

Hey riverooter - you obviously havent seen the latest pics of me and TD charging penguin reef my friend ! We are at the very top of our game at the moment and it would be a brave soul indeed to predict a southern victory over the Mighty NW'ers.

A good thing about RR's training session on Monday was he explained, and put to practice the art of tea sipping, scone baking and bible ear bashing. A skill he said us Southerners would need, to know what its like to be a NW'er. He said it was the only way to full understand how these NW"ers really surf.

Does this vet also do prostate examinations. Maybe each competitor can get a free examination to encourage entries?
