So, you can be vaccinated and still get the virus... then, once most of the population is vaccinated, the real number of people who are vaccinated getting the virus is higher than the number of unvaccinated... simple... express new cases as a percentage of total unvaccinated vs total vaccinated population and it'll look totally different and be more meaningful...
