Well its turned into one of those wild wet weekends,I went down to the G and snapped a couple of photos before going in,as I was doing this I noticed an Asian girl was in trouble and getting washed into the rocks,she unleashed and let the board go and stuck her hand up so I ran around the point to alert the lifesavers who radioed for the IRB.in the third photo you can see her head at the bottom of the picture.

Well it wasn't anything special,the surf that is it was very full when I went out and only a couple of speedy sections which I managed to get around which the razar wouldn't,too early to comment I'll wait until some clean lower tide stuff.

I dont think the conditions will improve tomorrow,so your not missing anything

I was there when all the action was happening I am sure I saw an old bloke throw a pink short board shaped by wung jung fung into his vehicle before running to the life guard tower

Did anyone else on the eastern side other than here in Syd have that howling WNW wind today?

I didn't think I was going to get wet but in the end I had an excellent sesh at my local.

Crazy stuff was happening, on at least 2 occasions I swung around to paddle, the wind caught the board and I slipped off the back like I was going backwards down a slippery dip.

About 4 times I though I had these absolute crackers only to find that when I stood up the wind pushed me off the back of them and I was left standing there with a dopy look on my face
