For the info of all you old broken dudes - just purchased a new back support - a "Neo G". Its amazing. Super comfy and lots of support. Way way better than the old thing I've been wearing and much more adjustable/snug.

Yeah heaps of pollution .... all 2 of us ....... the vibe you mention was obviously me hooting and hollering as you snaked the 20 mal riders you were with, dropped into that spitting pit, and proceeded to arc that pencil into one of the biggest drop knee cut backs in history ...... that would be it right? Where was mac? Thought you two were joined at the buttocks lately?

Its not technically snaking if I am stationary is it (yeah I know 30mtrs further out than everyone else) - and I did let some go through - AND I did go left on all the good rights so that has gotta make up for it hey

Just thinking about it - how the hell could I have snaked 20 mal riders huh there were only about 6 out

liar liar pants on fire .... was twenty out between you and much further down the line where I was respectfully waiting for the scraps mals and shorty riders allowed me to have .... BAAAARRRFFFFF!

JW - you were getting your share Mr ! and that bank you were on has been cooking for a couple of days now and still on today. I thought you were nuts going down there cos it wasn't exactly a forgiving section - unlike the big fat and safe bank I was sitting on. By the way, what were you riding ?

Try this: http://www.dnanutrition.com.au/index.php/neo-g-variable-compression-supports/neo-g-back-support-with-stays.html

If it doesn't work let me know and will send you more info; The brace is amazing - best I have ever used. Very comfy and heaps of support without restricting movement too much. It really is one size fits all so dont let that claim worry you cos it has tons of adjustment. Love it.

The last one I had was a Backsaver and it works good but after 18 months has started to fall apart and was $120 + postage, at $100 this one looks like it has far more support than the one I have.
Thanks BB I will order one soon

Mate I had a backsaver and there is absolutely no comparison. This one covers from the top of the hips to the base of the ribs all round to it gives support from the sacrum right up through the lumbar area and has ten times the support of the backsaver. If you get the one with the stays it has five flexible but supportive uprights that remind you you about posture and keep the brace nicely covering where you need it to. No - I don't work for them but I wish I had found these 3 years ago instead of wasting money on all the supposed fancy ones I have owned.

Well the Northerlies did not turn up in force..as Mac was dreading
Was at Cabarita on Sunday and expecting to see a strong Northerly mush by afternoon (got there late)....wind dropped at about 1...tide dropped..banks appeared and everyone else went home. Surfed the beach breaks for some arvo fun.
Had my first Shark incident as well... got buzzed by a 3-4fter just north of the SLSC about 2pm, sitting out on the wide bank.
How did everyone else go?

Surfed maccas this morn early with a chikfriend and it was really nice (small yes) and warm and uncrowded. Dropped off about 6.30 as the tide filled it in but definately worth getting wet.

Rips were working pretty heavy late at Caba yesterday on the beachies, mals out on the point were getting a few but the wash back from the rocks was making section close out too early ... had size though which was really nice to see.
