I think I've mention this once before that nailing a kiwi chick should not really count as a conquest.

They're conditioned from a very early age to be far more sexually aggressive because they know that when they get older, they'll be competing against livestock

So sheeeeeeeeee is a blonde bahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Was it fun or what? just got back from 2hrs of clean 2-3ft perfect waves, clear water and sun,i mean it was the best session i've had in a longtime with only 5 of us on one bank. The sets were 3ft solid and had a nice shoulder to play on.Easy paddle out just what i like, hopefully the swell will be around tomorrow as i didn't see any on the horizon.Mac,BB make the most of it before the school crouds.

Just reading the news and its posted a warning for the next few days of massive waves and lifeguards have asked for experienced surfers to take extreme care and also asked inexperienced to view from a save place! Ha the Razar is primed but should I watch or should I go now?

Just back from the pass - nothin !! The odd 2fter but on average 1ft of sideshore slop. Improved ever so slightly as the wind dropped and had some fun long long long rides into clarkes but no swell either getting in or even passing the headland so far. Checked wattys and much the same only a bit less wind but no swell at all and even the bombie not breaking.

However - on the up side - the RA is pretty close to being the best board I have ever ridden. Just need another coupla sesh's to safely make the official claim but I think it's on the cards. Its not often that you can sit on the point at the pass and pick and choose your wave knowing that you are 100% gunna catch it and ride it all the way to clarkes and even throw in a dozen cutties and a couple of tiny floaters, tell a sup to piss of cos he's slowing you down and surf around 8 backpackers on bic minimals who have dropped in on you and still have time to look back and watch the missus nose-dive her mal in the shallow inside section. I almost felt like I was cheating - I love it

I heard on the radio this morning that a wave bouy off the coast of Tasmania recoded a new record for a swell height, 18 + meters.

And that swell is comming up the coast.

Just my luck, todays is the only day I work this week.

You know mate - this is one of the first boards I have ridden that seems to always be exactly where I want it to be - does that make sense ? When I do a big stall and turn or a really pivoty cutty the board just seems to end up in the right place and its ready to go straight away rather than have to adjust angle or trim before the next move. Its weird cos I have never ridden a single fin or a board that long or flat so don't know why we are working so well together. I am actually looking forward to getting it into some big clean stuff and see how it handles it. NO - not the big gnarly stuff thats coming - my body just wouldn't take the beating - just some sizey stuff, maybe somewhere like broken or a bigger day at wattys or the like.
I really feel like one with this board which is something I have never said before so lets see how the relationship progresses hey.

The poor bugger who bought it is probably gunna struggle on it for a while because its been so used to going slow in a straight line so he is going to have to re-train it to do the job it was intended for. Might give the dude a ring and borrow it and asea and I can re-tune it to surf properly like a man surfs
