Hey rune if you are listening - were you out this morning and if so where and on what ?
There was a coupla new heads out at L/L this morning and one of them especially knew his s##t. Lovely conditions there today before the northerly kicked in - 2ft + and nice and puchy and relatively soft.
This time next week the mullawarra boys will be shaking their heads in dismay when they see that qld pain in the ass paddling out to them

Hey Doggie - will be at my fave spot in the world next week all week so will have to shoot you some piccies. Within a little over 2 kilometres there is a longboard point break - a very punchy but safe longboard/shortboard beach and a shortboard only beach and about a dozen local surfers between them
Add to all that a very very comfortable two storey home 100 mtrs from the point and beach and it does not get any better my friend.
OH hang on - yes it does NO SUPS

I was definately the other guy.

Yeah mate know him well. Nuff said there. Let me know when you thinking about in August and we may just try to sneek in a long weekend - any excuse - just love the place. (and just quietly, may throw the big beasty in just in case)

Is anyone selling an older mal - 9'6 or longer ? (not an old mal - older means cheaper ) Gotta be 9'6 or longer and at least 23 x 3.

Ah finally someone gets it My mates are wondering why I don't wanna take my 8.0 down with me - I keep telling them it doesn't have enough paddle but they don't believe me By the way - I have never taken any mates down there in the 10 years plus that I have been going there If I turned up there on an 8.0 the boys under the tree of knowledge would tell me to piss off to Mulla with my skinnyarsed shortboard

Hoping its breaking right in on the flag cos the missus wont paddle any further than that. About 3 years ago we scored it v/big and were taking off behind the point and getting out at the caravan park (seriously) we got about 3 or 4 waves per session and couldn't walk for a week. We all know what its usually like though dont we

You know what I am most looking forward to - its that last couple of hundred metres driving in - I turn the radio off - the missus goes quiet - even the dog knows to sit down and shut up - and I almost hold my breath as we approach the boat ramp - AND - its on ! - I grab a board off the roof and the missus goes to the house to unpack - I bolt past the tree of knowledge and get some anti-qld abuse from the locals and start that arm destroying paddle. OMG I am sooooo hanging out.
