Dude, your wife should talk to a doctor if she's scared. We sell the vaccines as one size fits all but it's really not true. Her doctor could explain her Vax risk versus her Covid risk so she can feel that she's making an informed decision moving forward.
If she's not obese or elderly or a smoker then she may fall into the not group.
Definitely worth consulting a trusted doctor.
I agree with the sentiment of what you are saying but it's not that simple.
Over the last month she has seen multiple doctors and specialist as a follow up to her stint in emergency, she has also had multiple CT and MRI scans, and for a person who suffers anxiety and claustrophobia, that in itself is a huge challenge. She accepts the benefits, but is still scared.
BTW, she is a very young and fit 53 year old. Leading into this she knew of no underlying issues. The scans have identified she has an aneurysm in her brain and a lump in her lung, neither of which contributed. The positive is we would never have found either and can now address these issues. Obviously this all adds to her anxiety.
