+ 1 Re Muz - 58 is very young

Re Souths - I was away for the weekend camping so I never got to watch the game - but have heard from a few trusted sources that they did not play that well yet still smashed them. Lets see how you go in 2 weeks time against the Storm - who have lost 5 of their last 6 and travel to Canberra this weekend. By the following w/e they will have to be ready for a big game ag your lot. I think that will be your true test as Titians are not much chop and North Queensland this weekend (who are so poor they lost to the Bronx) should not stretch you either.

Last 5 rounds Bunnies have Storm, Manly, Dogs, Tigers, Roosters.
A good test before semi's.

From todays Tele:

A historic Rabbitohs-Roosters grand final looms for rugby league.

Yet fans in Sydney's east shouldn't get too excited just yet. The team they love to hate - Manly-Warringah - are back again, just as they have been for the past nine years. (not just one year out of the blue!!)

The Sea Eagles love September. They have played in every finals series since 2005. Manly are truly a remarkable club.

A win over Wests Tigers at Campbelltown on Monday night pushed Manly above Melbourne and into third place on the premiership table.

Here they come again

Manly had Wests Tigers covered in every area.

Kieran Foran was exceptional, setting up three tries. He slaughtered Benji Marshall in the individual Kiwi match-up at five-eighth.

Lyon scored two tries and kicked six goals for an individual tally of 20 points.

"Manly have the experience in September," Wests Tigers skipper Robbie Farah said. "Don't write them off."

Yep Dazzler - well said I went down and watched the might Eagles crush the Titians (is that some kind of joke that name?) last weekend at Brookie and it was great to see that fast attacking football at close range. I also like how one of our best this year could not even get a run at Parra last year.

Horo has been a superstar this year & now got Richie Faioso (sic) back after missing most of the season with injury.

Parra just can't seem to hold onto quality players or attract a superstar to the club apart from Sandow!!

ha ha ha He got destroyed at the w/e - London Broncos killed 70-zip by Wigan. Apparently the fans were singing "Sandows are a car park" as they repeatedly ran over and through him

I was confused last night - it was Jamie Soward at the London Brocos getting the roasting

^^^^You were confused ?
I googled Chris Sandow just to make sure I hadn't missed something.
Sure enough, he is running out for Wenty again this weekend.
You know, when Eels signed him up, the word around the Bunnies supporters was "How could Souths let him go ?" & "How are we going to be competitive without a good halfback ?" Funny how things turn out.
Btw, the Eels have a knack of attracting good players who play sh1t and letting go under performing players who perform well at their new clubs.

They'll all qualify for the Blues by then.

Does George qualify as Rookie of the Year?

Not sure. I think the rule is you can't have played no more then 3 games the previous season/s. I just checked GB profile and he played 3 last year. Just not sure if pommy Super League is taken into account. I recall Gareth Ellis couldn't get it as he had played ESL.

I guess this means Roy is definitely gone now unless he takes a good old fashioned pay cut - he has been on a whopper the last 4 or 5 yrs....as I seem to recall he was the first name as such to head there when Souths were playing almost as well as Parra How times change........

That loss is good for Bunnies.
You need a wake up call around this time of year just to remind yourself you can be beaten if you don't aim up.

It appears they are still waking up.
I still stick by what I said that you can learn a lot from ONE loss.
2 consecutive losses is possibly the start of a form slup - it's a fine line.
I think we have to win 3 from remaining 5 for top 2 spot with a tough run home.

GOLD SP!!!!!!!!

Well I never gave the Cowboys a chance to be honest but I guess this result just another loss that Souths had to have....they will be better for it

How good were my Chiefs last night - that last 20 mins was just sensational. Lose the first 60 mins but save yr best for the end !!!!

The rabbits need these losses. Yet their supporters are practising the how to save someone from choking manoeuvre atm. Scotty your goal is much easier to achieve than the bunnies winning the gf lol. Discuss hahaha

Plus they should have never been allowed back into the comp anyway

Titians looked good today Mac - you must have been excited watching them go round. Thats two good wins in a row and todays one was without a couple of your superstars. Well played. They are performing much better than I thought they would this year.

I will put a lazy $50 on Ted's humour for the win. They played the tigers, sorry sp but the local netball team could beat them atm. Looking forward to the tigers vs eels blockbuster
