yep.....I wonder how we go in a few yrs time with the rule change. I hate it when you haven't played for a while and are not hitting it well so instead of getting the 5 iron out you get the four and smash it out the back...then revert to your normal iron and blow the next 4!!! frustrating. Golf should be so easy....just do the same thing everytime and change the club - simple - yeah right!!!!!!
SOUTH Sydney back-rower Sam Burgess has raised eyebrows - and watered eyes - with an alleged ''squirrel grip'' on Melbourne Storm's Will Chambers.
Footage appears to show Burgess reaching in between Chambers? legs in the 68th minute of last Friday night's 26-8 loss to Melbourne, and the Storm centre is left lying on the ground in pain.

Burgess could yet be charged with contrary conduct if the match review committee believes there is a case against him.

Naturally, I am over the moon with that win last night. Great to see this years comp is not a 1 or 2 horse race like previous years. Any of the top 4 sides can win + the bottom 4 teams in the 8 have an upset in them as well. Edit: hoping for a Bunnies v Roosters GF. That would be a huge buzz around the Eastern Suburbs. That rivalry goes back along way.

I never saw it as was out on the long board on some wonderful 1-2 ft peelers at the point ......on the way home the ABC radio chaps were saying that Cooper Cronk should have been binned for a Pro foul - dirty Melb types !!

Ref said "no try, check grounding" which means the video ref must have proof on the 50 replays from 10 angles that the ball was grounded. Clearly there wasn't so the ref's decision stays. IMO Matai fell short of try line before being rolled on his back. As you said, if Ref said "we've got a try, check grounding" then video ref would be forced to call try as there was no proof of ball NOT being grounded. I think the current system is good as the ref is forced to give his opinion. Previous system was just passing the buck upstairs.
