someone know the FULL story about Teo

Not me but he has not exactly covered himself in glory......when asked the question was asked did you hit the girl he refused to answer.....no matter the circumstances no excuses for hitting a girl in my humble opinion.....if he didn't then just say so and we can all move on.

Why did Souths not raise the matter with the NRl well before they did? I reckon Dave Smith would be an angry man right now!

It's taken me 3 days but I figured out why Jerrod Hayne was picked - the Queenslanders paid off the blue selectors to pick a #1 that would ensure a Blues defeat. I can't believe that JH is the best pick for full back with the people that are available.

Ok she might be a nut job.. But did he hit her? Seems like some biased and a one sided media story atm. A close source gave a story that quite possibly be true, just did not give the ultimate answer.

Jamie Soward

His immediate playing future may be in limbo, but Jamie Soward hasn't asked for an early release from his contract and intends to see out the year with the Dragons, according to his manager Sam Ayoub.

But Soward may not have a choice after leaving training on Monday morning after being granted a leave of absence. The former NSW Origin five-eighth arrived at the joint-venture club's Wollongong base with the expectation he would take part in the team's usual video session - but it was far from business as usual following a discussion with coach Steve Price.

The 28-year-old has already inked a four-year contract to join Penrith from next year with Canberra's Sam Williams identified as a pre-June 30 arrival at the Dragons. Price consulted Soward and senior players in the aftermath of St George Illawarra's dramatic 16-14 loss to the Bulldogs last Friday night, agreeing to give the feisty No.6 time away from the training paddock.

It sparked fresh innuendo Soward was mulling his immediate future with the Dragons, but Ayoub said Soward was not considering a mid-season switch to the Panthers.

''He hasn't asked for any release,'' Ayoub said. ''He wants to play the season with the Dragons, and there's no issue with that.''

Penrith quickly doused any chance of Soward heading to the Panthers early, confirming they hadn't discussed taking him ahead of schedule, according to club boss Phil Gould. ''We are looking forward to having Jamie join us in November to prepare for the 2014 season,'' Gould said. ''He is a major part of our plans for next year.''

Price told reporters ''everything's fine'' with Soward despite excusing his chief playmaker from training as the out-of-sorts Dragons look to claw their way back into the finals equation. St George Illawarra have had five losses in their past six matches and will meet former mentor Wayne Bennett's Knights in Newcastle on Saturday night.

Quizzed on whether he could guarantee Soward would see out the remainder of his contract, Price said: ''I had a discussion with Jamie and we'll just wait for a couple of days. We're just really focused on this Saturday.

''I gave him a couple of days off just to clear his head.''

Soward was at the centre of the Dragons' tense loss to the Bulldogs, sending a difficult after-the-siren penalty goal attempt askew which would have sent the match into golden point, in what could be his final act as a Dragon. Halves partner Nathan Fien described Soward's contribution to the Dragons as ''outstanding'', with the playing group trying to distance themselves from the conflict.

''From what I've heard he's just having a think about things that Pricey and him have discussed,'' Fien said. ''We can't get distracted by it and we're not in a position to get distracted by it.

''I guess it's business as usual for us and Sowie will take his time and make his decision. We'll hear about it, as you guys will, in due course.''

Fien and fellow New Zealand international Jason Nightingale leapt to the defence of Soward, who has been much maligned by sections of the St George Illawarra faithful.

''I'd love to see him at the club for the rest of the season,'' Nightingale said. ''I love him as a bloke and as a person and I would love to see him stay with us for the rest of the season. Sowie doesn't hate it and he doesn't love [the criticism], but he definitely gets the raw end of the deal every now and then.''

Price isn't overflowing with five-eighth suitors with Josh Drinkwater and Chase Stanley options with the Dragons reluctant to shift the in-form Josh Dugan from fullback.
