Pancake Creek to Bundaberg in little Alibi. This is us going past the Bustard Head light.
Almost entirely under sail - including right up to the Bundaberg marina (following an inelegant and superfluous gibe at the mouth!).
An average speed of 5.3knts which means that, despite being last in, we win on handicap.
Managed the 68nm all in the light - another achievement.
Now in Bundy for a week sitting out the southerly and FINALLY fitting the water system.
Bundy is a great place; cafe, fish n chips, seafood and chandler at marina. Courtesy bus to town / sunday marketand from Burnett Heads IGA or pub. Great yachties bbq on friday and generally friendly. And that is before the rum museum!
It's turned cool with a little rain which is a nice break from the heat.
I reckon Cisco is right about this place!
Cheers
