First sailing experience were crewing on Lightweight and heavyweight sharpies in SA about 1960. 20 years in the RAN, 14 years as aircrew in Grumman Trackers. Professional fisherman for the last 26 years. Now retired. Sailed Finns and OK dinghies for 39 years, gave up competitive sailing at 60 and gave my Finn to my son. Currently own an SS34. Previous yachts, Currawong 30, Endeavour 24, M&W quarter tonner, Status 19.
