There's quite a bit of science in the Icelandic approach. They were able to protect the nation with mitigated inconvenience. Serological tests were conducted on more than half the population which offers the most reliable IFR around.
Other countries have tried to be like Iceland, but there's only one Iceland. It was shown by the GFC and repeated with Covid.

Did you provide her with a dozen peer reviewed articles relate to cough medicine? A list of the ingredients and an explanation if any of them were known to be toxic in large quantities? A few youtube videos on why the medicine is not a product of 'big pharma'?

I think as a kid the only thing that bothers you is that these things taste awful.

Maybe they should make the vaccine available as oral doses, in whisky flavour?

Got my second jab this week obviously feel fine no side effects at all.

The misinformation going on here is a disgrace. Trying to convince people to ignore the vast worldwide medical consensus will lead to peoples slow pain full lonely deaths.

The people on here doing that should tell everyone there education level, medical qualifications current occupations. Its not much to ask since you are passing yourselves of as experts.

Yes I'm towing the line it doesn't mean its the wrong thing to do.
After millions of doses given out worldwide for the last seven months the long term affects would have started to show up by now.
No vaccine in history has side effects past 2 months. So I feel confident that covids short term and long term problems way out way any unlikely effects.

Most people are willing to have surgery to fix injury's and the short and long term risks of all those drugs are quite high.
But no one carry's on about it like they are for these vaccines which are low risk.

To be fair, there has never has been vaccines like any of the covid vaccines. They use completely new vaccine technology with only limited tests on animals prior to release. We are now the guinea pigs.

The vaccines are doing ok, they are doing less harm than covid itself. Which is how they got approved for emergency or provisional use. But they are far from awesome and above criticism.

I'm sure better vaccines will come out soon, they are doing some promising research in SA using more tried and tested vaccine technology. Time will tell.

Pfizer uses newish mRNA technology
That's my basic understanding

The vaccine's are keeping most people out of hospital and greatly reducing the death toll.

Will admit they are not as good as the world was hoping for. But its the best we have at the moment.

My wild guess is we will be living and dealing with covid for a long time.

Time will tell.
