To be fair, there has never has been vaccines like any of the covid vaccines. They use completely new vaccine technology with only limited tests on animals prior to release. We are now the guinea pigs.
The vaccines are doing ok, they are doing less harm than covid itself. Which is how they got approved for emergency or provisional use. But they are far from awesome and above criticism.
I'm sure better vaccines will come out soon, they are doing some promising research in SA using more tried and tested vaccine technology. Time will tell.
don't worry, everything was tested well already..

But my concern is completely different.
Luckily Covid is not infectious to our pets. But if we continue to do experiments on dogs and cats instead bats, then
could be very remote chance that those animals can get infected one day , by another new variant.
When one day your own dog could pass infection on you with another pandemic viruses - then we may have no other option that
"remove" our dogs from homes.
Unless at same time vaccine will be developed to treat both us and our pets.
Next order from your local government , beside lockdown - could be then go now and kill all your dogs or we do so for you!
