yea they loosen up like a single fin when you put them foward and a bit drivier when put back. Ive been riding the 76 with 6"mfc fins the last couple of times, Ive found it doesnt make too much difference, maybe a little looser. been too preoccupied with finding the difference between the left and right fin ( the mfc fins are marked L and R but I cant for the life of me see a difference between the two)
Finally got to ride in some cross on conditions as well last night (we sailed for an hour in the dark, due to the fact the southerly didnt hit til 630). They rip for frontside riding in cross on as well, not sure if it was due to the smaller arc on the bottom turn or what, but definately dont loose as much speed as a single fin during the bottom turn and seem to come back around the topturn in alot more normal fashion than Ive found single fins to do as well. I felt like matt holder riding crosson, it was great. Im more than sold on the twinnies now for cross off, cross, and cross on.
