Went to Geelong on the long weekend for the wooden boat festival.

.....On Monday morning the section of the marina exploded with action so I got the rod and lure out and caught 12 roughie. Nice eating little fish! The others where having a go but only my lure was taking fish.

Find out what antifoul that was.
For 5 years i would be happy with that

I pulled mine out after 18 months and it was thick .
I think WA must have too many nutrients running out of the Swan.

Scraping shell off in NSW will likely get you a large fine. Cleaning slime is fine. Try to do it out of sight and away from pensioners who have nothing better to do than cause grief. Don't past pictures of the crime.

Yes, Dr Rog. They are 2 of my crew. I have 3 feline crew. I was indeed very happy. They one with the huge smile was just after I slid off the cockpit seat onto the floor.

Thanks Sands, Libran and Sam .... just go do it Sam. It's a great feeling being out in the space of the ocean.

Thanks Trace,
The cats went through stages. On the marina yhey were completely happy. When I anchored out in the harbour and it was roly Missy just lay on the floor looking seasick for about a day. By a couple of days all three weee scampering around regardless of the swell. When my son was pulling the anchor and I was doing laps of the harbour in the dark at 4 am Milly was scampering round the deck and up on the boom but when we went out into the swell they all found corners to hide for about 5 hours. Then they settled and slept quite happily the rest of the way.

Well toaday I didn't go sailing. I just sat here in the marina and watched the storm clouds build up.

Got to replace the annodes in the heat exchanger and replce the fuel filters.

OH, I also had to empty a bottle of Merlot that was taking up more than it's fair share of room in the fridge. Storm clouds don't look so bad now.

Good to hear they settled in McNaught....
I consider taking one of mine out with me as she is my veritable shadow, my faithful friend. Maybe if I had a bigger boat with more places for her to hide

Below is my 'Mad Woman's Breakfast' route of my sail today. Fantastic day! Nothing went wrong! Happy girl this evening...
Oh, I didn't go overland, just forgot to stop the route on my phone after tying up and driving off in the car haha.

Yesterday I motored up the Clarence River to Harwood. This morning I go under the bridge when they lift it for me.
Started out and ended a beautiful day but got smashed by a big thunderstorm and 27 knot wind half way.

Cammeray to Botany Bay , great conditions and reached terrifying speeds ( for my boat anyway lol ) good to get back out on the water after being interstate for 5 months . Although some would say she is best kept out of sight in a quiet backwater . ( the more mature ones her will understand that lol ) she is mine and I love her .

Sorry still can't work out how to turn images from the iPad

Beautiful. Years ago mate and I used to sail our Flying Fifteen from Yowie Bay to Jibbon with disposable BBQ, esky with steaks and some salad in Tupperware, bread rolls and a couple of six packs.

Glory days for sure. Looks like you are in company with an S&S 34.

Oh, how stupid of me - I've been on her. Thanks. Did the mast climb and managed to swindle being up there out the heads and stay up there while they tacked which was mind-blowing.
