(i bite)

"The individual effect of F in urine indicated that for each mg increase of F in urine a decrease of 1.7 points in Full IQ might be expected.”

Ok, but the research was done where PPM are 5 - 10 X higher than normal.

The line "...it would be short-sighted to dismiss such important findings on this basis. After all, the study was able to detect a statistically significant effect within a rather small (n=155) group of children". See that is a good reason to dismiss the findings ("such important" is subjective btw), 155 is a small sample, it would carry more weight with a larger sample of course.

Now, 5-10 x higher than normal levels in sample water equals 1.7 IQ points, so we could assume by this research that normal levels would produce 0.2 - 0.4 points in IQ. In other words about the same amount as if you woke up 5 minutes earlier than normal, or had 1 piece less of toast for breakfast, or it was a windy day. Seriously.

Mountain out of a molehill stuff. A good breakfast, good books, a good home environment, luck of the genetic pool etc. etc. will counteract this enormously. In other words there are much, much, much bigger things to worry about (like entropy). Don't waste your energy.

Agreed.

(I bite again)
And 1.7 points is no variance at all anyway. If you did 2 IQ tests, back-to-back, I guarantee you'll get a variance of at least that.

And did they do IQ tests before and after they drank a lot of fluoridated water? Or does this just show that those drinking water with fluoride added have an average of -1.7 IQ points (no pun intended)?

All-in-all: meh.

I just found the cure to all our fuel worries.. and it'll stuff up the snakemen and their cunning oil monopolistic illuminati plot.[}:)]

www.runyourcarwithwater.com/

Basically, you take power from the car battery, convert the water to this "Hydroxy" stuff, and then run it through your engine. It gets converted back to water in your engine, and magically releases some extra energy from somewhere along the way.

And apparently it doesn't void the manufacturers warranty either

most scientifically minded people repeat verbatim what they've been told is fact by the establised learned societies-funded by corporations, government- they so desperately cling to after years and years of sacrafice and study, they basically tow the company line... if flouride is so good for the teeth, why are we ingesting it...? why not use it topically? why warn parents to supervise young childrens teeth brushing and ensure they do not swallow the paste or use more than a pea sized glob, why warn parents not to use tap water when preparing baby formula, the reason cited was the elevated flouride levels.... as a metaphor, that movie the matrix..... is pretty close to the money, let's see how the sheeple react to that.

We have just heard from Kevin Glynn of the Save Our Water group in the Isle of Man (saveourwater@manx.net ) that the Government has announced that they have canceled their effort to introduce water fluoridation into the island. This is a major victory which will undoubtedly give heart to other communities in the British Isles -and throughout the world - which are fighting fluoridation. Once again it demonstrates that where the people are organized, and the press does its job, we win. And democracy wins. Kevin writes:

Hi Paul

Fantastic news!

After nearly 5 years of campaigning we finally got word that the isle of Man government have come to their senses and decided to abandon the proposal to fluoridate our water supply.

This is an amazing result for the people of our Island and for common sense. Despite 5 years of propaganda and the DHSS even inviting the top man from the British Fluoridation Society (Professor Lennon) to persuade IOM residents that fluoridation is a good thing we somehow prevailed.

My head is still spinning but I wanted to share with you and other campaigners around the World our great news.

It can be done, read the official DHSS press release below.

Thanks for all your help and good luck to everyone else fighting this madness.

Media Release
DHSS listens to public opinion on fluoridation

Following an extensive consultation process, the Department of Health and Social Security today recommended to the Council of Ministers not to proceed with fluoridating the Island's water. The Council of Minister's have accepted this recommendation.

The issue of fluoridating water has been proposed by various professional bodies and the Health Services Consultative Committee for many years. The Director of Public Health has a statutory duty to raise matters of concern brought to the attention of the Public Health Directorate, with the Department. In order to assess public opinion regarding the addition of fluoride to the Island's water, the Department entered into a public debate. This consultation process has been very helpful to the Department, as it has established current public opinion and helped to highlight the poor level of dental health among our children.

Independent market researchers, GfK NOP, conducted a comprehensive survey on 12-15th May 2008. A random sample of 1000 Island residents were interviewed and all age groups 18 and over were represented. Results showed that a majority of respondents (54%) were opposed to fluoridation.

Hon W.E. Teare MHK, Minister for Health and Social Security said, "The poll has highlighted some important issues for the Department to consider. Particularly in respect of the level of awareness amongst those polled of the rate of tooth decay and the general state of dental health in the Isle of Man compared to the UK."

The Minister continued, "In reporting the outcome of the telephone poll, the Department wants to assure the public that their views have been listened to. The poll results have shown that the majority of respondents are opposed to fluoridation of water in the Isle of Man. On that basis the Department accepts the results and will not continue with proposing fluoridation of the water but will concentrate efforts in the coming years to further develop health promotion activity with regard to improving the dental health of everyone living in the Isle of Man."

How to solve cavities once and for all, maybe. Replacing bad bactieria with good bacteria, permanently.

Article source: www.popsci.com/scitech/article/2004-07/buggy-cavity-fix
Company Website: www.oragenics.com/product_replacement.php

Kids get cavities. Dentists fill them. It's a fairly old arrangement, but it may soon come to an end if cavities go the way of smallpox. Jeffrey Hillman's company, Oragenics, has patented a simple swab of bacteria that when wiped across a set of teeth will (allegedly) grant a lifetime of protection from tooth decay. By this fall, Hillman, a dental researcher at the University of Florida, will begin testing the new strain on 15 to 30 volunteers.

Normally, bacteria called Streptococcus mutans grow on human teeth and convert sugar into lactic acid, which rots enamel. Hillman engineered a strain of S. mutans that doesn't produce lactic acid; instead, it carries an antibiotic that helps it displace the indigenous cavity-inducing strain. "The dentist will apply our bacteria and then tell the patient to go home and eat sugar," Hillman says. As luck would have it, Tootsie Rolls, lollipops, et al. help to colonize the new strain, but instead of creating a cavity the sugar helps form a tooth security guard, thus revolutionizing the practice of modern dentistry. "I think that's a fair way to put it," says Kenneth Burrell, senior director of the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs. But there could be a hitch with the FDA: Hillman is not sure whether patients can transfer the new strain to others with, say, just a kiss. Hillman is confident there will be no "horizontal transmission," but just to be sure, the spouses of Phase I testers will be monitored. If the strain stays put, it could go commercial within five to six years.

For the body to convert refined sugar into glucose it robs the body of calcium so over a period of time bone loss occurs , teeth fall out etc. Refined sugar and white flour , the main culprits.
How hard is it to give up sugar? Is it a poison?

^^^^ nail on the head sambo, how long will it take before evil panda offers aspartame as anti sugar solution. refined sugars also stop or inhibit the bodies ability to cure/repair itself, processed milk offers little to no calcium that the body can actually uptake due to the ilimination of magnesium... www.notmilk.com

^^^ OK, how's about I reword it something like:

The entire dental industry is a scam to keep us all slaves to the system. It is a fact (that science ignores because it can't understand it) that secret food additives are what causes tooth decay, food additives that are byproducts of the US military in conjunction with the lizard people.

The dentists need you to see them regularly so they can adjust the devices that they insert into your teeth when you think they are plugging holes. These devices are on the same frequency as free-to-air television and the mobile phone network and are responsible for "missing time" or our connection to the 5th dimension that we are not supposed to have. The lizard people are from another dimension you see.

This missing time is when the lizard people come and take the lizard-human hybrid fetuses they planted in us earlier, these fetuses are then grown and come back years later as dentists.

PS If you can read the secret message in the above statements you will know where to meet.

PPS Sorry for breaking character and using paragraphs.

PPPS I'm actually stating that it may be possible in future to no longer need fluoride, at all... if the studies I pointed out are successful, and of course don't cause further, unforseen issues. Bright shiny teeth - >
