I wonder if this will really happen? Politicians seem to have gotten too keen to switch to renewables, but I wonder if we actually have the energy available in the system to support everyone running an EV? I doubt it. It's one thing to have a lot of EVs running around, but a bit different to have everyone using EVs.
I will be pretty surprised if the governments here manage to switch off coal powered stations in the next few years.

You musta been pissed right off when an organisation we never voted for made us all buy cars and stopped manufacture of carts to be pulled by horses
I am of the opinion the E.U and the W.E.F both clearly in cahoots take their 2030 Agenda somewhere where the sun don't shine.

so, from that I'm guessing you whole arguement is based on you going outside in the middle of the night, realizing it was cold, so therefore global warming doesn't exist.
Where is your proof that global warming doesn't exist, where is the backing evidence to cooborate these statements.
Show us historcal temperature trends where the average tempearture is declining over the last 100 years.
You have slagged of everyone elses eveidence to the contrary of your opion.

I suggest it made no difference to the truth that you stated. Your truth is 100% and remains 100%. I cannot edit away the truth, despite what others may chose to beLIEve.

No problems. The grid is always being upgraded to cope with increasing energy demands. When people decided they needed a swimming pool, larger houses, air conditioning, clothes dryers ... A swimming pool, according to google, requires 10,000 kWh per year.
A Tesla doing the average 13,000km at 15 kWh per 100 km 2,000 kWh per year. And they often go with a solar installation.
My relatively new 5kw solar system produced 10mwh during 2024 and I consumed 5mwh. So I in reckon I have plenty left to charge an EV if I decide to get one. I have a battery on order so I suppose that might change things.
If I sound like a fanatic, I'm not. I have eight petrol vehicles. I might swap one out for an EV.

Battery may make EV charging better, you don't have to do it in the middle of the day, you can do it at a more convenient time.
So a large EV might do 20kwhr/100km
15,000km/year = 3,000kwhr?
Same size diesel might do 9L/100km
= 1,350 L of diesel.
I would be interested to hear what is harder to produce and deliver to point of use?
