Not sure where I heard/read this.
Those who simply refuse our truth are foolish. Those who have access to our truth and call it lies are criminal.
Might have been from the book titled 1984
Message manipulation on SB?
Below is my post followed by what PCF had as the quote. Note the subtle change from 'the truth' to 'our truth' whereby the context changes from the original intent.

A glitch in the matrix, Ai fanning the flames or someone just fkn around. Whats going on Breezers?

Changing somebody's quote should be a banning offense!
Blatant misrepresentation of what somebody has said.
Changing a muppet's quote should be rewarded!
What's wrong with misrepresenting what a muppet has said on Seabreeze?
IDK, maybe the muppet should be punished.
IDK, maybe the muppet should be punished.
Calling someone a muppet goes unpunished?
Seabreeze encourages muppets to be called rimmers, but suspends users for calling muppets idiots.
Seabreeze also removes funny images that depict a blue ringed octopus.
Listen to Mike Yeadon's latest interview The Final Warning. From 49 -30 till the end.
He gets into detail about the climate change bandwagon.
The E.U by 2035 is stopping the manufacture of petrol cars. Taking away our right to choose a petrol or electric from an organisation that is not even voted in by the people - really sad.
Also, tyrannical.

I wonder if this will really happen? Politicians seem to have gotten too keen to switch to renewables, but I wonder if we actually have the energy available in the system to support everyone running an EV? I doubt it. It's one thing to have a lot of EVs running around, but a bit different to have everyone using EVs.
I will be pretty surprised if the governments here manage to switch off coal powered stations in the next few years.
Also, tyrannical.
You musta been pissed right off when an organisation we never voted for made us all buy cars and stopped manufacture of carts to be pulled by horses
I am of the opinion the E.U and the W.E.F both clearly in cahoots take their 2030 Agenda somewhere where the sun don't shine.
Of course, not going to happen if this thread is reflective of the wider population.
Say no to electric cars both new and second hand.
Hey Pete, in case you misssed this (or chose to ignore it).
Realize - real eyes.
so, from that I'm guessing you whole arguement is based on you going outside in the middle of the night, realizing it was cold, so therefore global warming doesn't exist.
Where is your proof that global warming doesn't exist, where is the backing evidence to cooborate these statements.
Show us historcal temperature trends where the average tempearture is declining over the last 100 years.
You have slagged of everyone elses eveidence to the contrary of your opion.
So now it's your turn to step up.
PROVE IT, Prove with documented evidence that over the last 100 years the global average temperature is not rising.
Just saying it, doesn't make it so.
Prove it so, WITH EVIDENCE AND DATA.
Links to sites sponsored by the hydrocarbon industry or quotes from persons employed by the Hydrocarbon industry as previously on this thread will bring out the corperate oil stooge comments again.
Data and evidence over tha last 100 years that the temperature is not rising shouldn't be that hard.

Totally agree.
Hey Pete, in case you misssed this (or chose to ignore it).
He is a now a very long way down his own peculiar rabbit hole. There is no enlightenment that far down. Perhaps it's even impossible to recognise reality any more. In that darkness there is no chance of answering a little furry red muppet is my guess.
IDK, maybe the muppet should be punished.

Redirecting or avoiding the issue does not make it go away. As Hilly has pointed out, it is easy to over write someone else's words.
I will be blunt, did you change my statement when responding?
Truth is: nothing anyone says on Seabreeze will make pm33 change his mind.
So, sorry if I seem a little confused here but just to clarify...
Everyone is in agreement with Carantoc then ?

There was a line break above 'Truth is:' Did you edit my post?

Yes. I did. And I make no apology for it.
Edited for brevity but also emotional impact.
I suggest it made no difference to the truth that you stated. Your truth is 100% and remains 100%. I cannot edit away the truth, despite what others may chose to beLIEve.

No problems. The grid is always being upgraded to cope with increasing energy demands. When people decided they needed a swimming pool, larger houses, air conditioning, clothes dryers ... A swimming pool, according to google, requires 10,000 kWh per year.
A Tesla doing the average 13,000km at 15 kWh per 100 km 2,000 kWh per year. And they often go with a solar installation.
My relatively new 5kw solar system produced 10mwh during 2024 and I consumed 5mwh. So I in reckon I have plenty left to charge an EV if I decide to get one. I have a battery on order so I suppose that might change things.
If I sound like a fanatic, I'm not. I have eight petrol vehicles. I might swap one out for an EV.

Battery may make EV charging better, you don't have to do it in the middle of the day, you can do it at a more convenient time.
So a large EV might do 20kwhr/100km
15,000km/year = 3,000kwhr?
Same size diesel might do 9L/100km
= 1,350 L of diesel.
I would be interested to hear what is harder to produce and deliver to point of use?
