I guess I shouldn't be surprised. People seem to 'present' other people's stuff now and want to show how clever they are for finding it. 
Even the mainstream media has articles every now and then where they are reporting on social media responses to other things.

I love the anti-vac crew who say 'follow the evidence' and then resort to yelling 'Debate me Bro!' at anyone who suggests that maybe their evidence isn't very scientific.
It's only because debates allow them to just use language instead of actual evidence to sway opinion. And opinion is all that matters in a debate, not evidence based on good science.
Let alone debates should be between peers.

What is his position? Pro-vaccination?
He says that he is, but I haven't come across a quote from him stating which particular vaccines he supports. Could you provide evidence of which vaccines currently on the USA vaccination schedule he supports?
I'm not convinced by his assertion alone.
Especially since his early days of claiming vaccines were unsafe due to Thimerosal, but hasn't really changed his position since Thimerosal has been replaced by other more effective adjuncts.

Debates like these are not about evidence.
RFK Jr is a skilled orator, with decades of spinning the same messages in different ways to appeal to different audiences, but he's not a scientist
Maybe Dr Hotez is a better scientist than debater, surely that would influence his decision on whether to participate in a "Debate" on Rogans show?

An 'antivaxxer' is one of those weirdos that come up with strange reasons not to take a vaccine. If someone comes up with a decent reason to not take a vaccine, its fine by me. If they decide not to take a vaccine for no reason, and don't bother telling me, that is also fine. If they want to tell me why I am wrong to take any vaccine and they have references on youtube or worse sites, they are antivaxxers.
I know at least one person that won't take the vaccine, and I can respect that choice. They don't bother to preach to me about it though.

It is funny that in that video he makes the point not to bother arguing with conspiracy theorists. He also makes the point of how now everyone seems to be an expert on all sorts of stuff and have lost sight of what an expert really is.
I think with most conspiracy theorists, you can start with the premise of "I don't understand why that is..." and then apply whatever story that makes them happy.
It is surprising when you read of highly educated professionals coming up with similar theories. Probably surprising as there are so few and the one or two that show up stand out because of this. Your Aunt Mary that works in Woolies is okay as a CT, but not your GP.
