First sentence... "COVID-19 vaccines have saved millions of lives".

And "Cases seem very rare-far less common than Long Covid after infection."

and

"But Marks also worries about "the sensational headline" that could mislead the public, and he emphasizes that vaccine benefits far outweigh any risks."

and

"Chung stresses that this paper and other data also suggest COVID-19 vaccines protect against POTS and other Long Covid symptoms, and he remains a strong advocate for vaccination."

You said it yourself: you were unlucky.

There is no such thing as luck. If you took the vaccine you took the risk of an adverse reaction. The scandal here is the authorities downplayed the risks of adverse reactions therefore giving the public a distorted sense of the safety. When people were starting to have problems they were ridiculed, called anti-vaxxers & often ignored. This made it hard for the public to make an informed decision based on the risk/reward. Now we have FN seeing that the risks are real and he is hesitating on getting his 5th jab. Good for him. And this is happening because people like ok have spoken up.

My neighbor is an intensive care paramedic for 15+ years in the last 12 months there has been a huge increase in unexplained illnesses and they have been gagged from speaking out about it to the media.

A guy was found dead in his front yard around the corner from my place the other day.
The sign in his front window read " VAX THE NATION"
Obviously went well for him...

Parademics are people too. As such they are just as gullible as the rest of us and may think that there is an unexplained increase in illnesses, even if it turns out its normal.

'Gagged'? I doubt it. Probably the same as saying 'yeah good on you Pete, stop talking about it'. You have no idea if this is an official thing or just some guy, who happens to be a paramedic, thinking it is more than it is and everyone is sick of him talking about it.

Anectdotes prove nothing and it makes much more sense to look at the data... but that said if there really was a big increase in illnesses and people were being told to avoid speaking about it, you then are assuming there is a big conspiracy. If you think that there is a big conspiracy, then anything will just reinforce your pre-existing belief.

"A mother-of-two lost both her legs and is set to lose her fingers too after her 'flu-like symptoms' turned out to be sepsis.
Julianna Bransden, 44, spent Christmas with her family for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic last December in Pembrokeshire, South Wales.
But the joyful festivities were ground to a halt when Julianna's auntie in Northern Ireland was taken ill on Christmas Eve and unexpectedly died of sepsis days later.
A shaken and grieving Jullianna then went to bed when she started feeling under the weather on New Year's Eve. Her family didn't think anything more about it.
A mum-of-two has lost both her legs and most of her fingers after going to bed with flu-like symptoms that turned out to be sepsis. Primary school teacher Julianna Bransden, 44, was feeling under the weather as she spent Christmas with her family for the first time since the Covid pandemic. But the primary school teacher's condition declined rapidly overnight and she became bedridden.
Julianna's husband Tim said she couldn't 'lift her head off the pillow' and was unable to check her phone, let alone get into a car or wait in A&E for hours.
Phoning 111, Tim was told his wife just needs to get some bedrest, but he decided to call for an ambulance anyway.
This decision might have saved his wife's life.
In sepsis, the body's immune system became a wrecking ball when reacting to an infection, destroying tissue and organs.
The earlier it is spotted, the better chance a patient has of surviving.
But knowing if someone has sepsis can be tricky as the symptoms - a fever, rapid heartbeat, slurred speech and breathing difficulty - look a lot like other ailments.

Sister Jac, who owns a veterinary practice in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, said: 'The doctors told us after that Julianna's body was basically compensating for her, and had hidden how bad and ill she really was.
'She's young and healthy but suddenly fell off a cliff. In a timeframe of 30 minutes, her heart had stopped twice.'
When she was first through to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest, Julianna was suffering from aggressive pneumonia, influenza and invasive Strep A."

^ did you use a Google lens to search for the image? I just did the same.

beats the heck out of me why some of these nutcases aren't smart enough to think about what they read FROM ONE WEBSITE and don't bother checking it.

Maybe PMac is having his jollies knowing that these things are so wrong and just wants to entertain us by giving us easy stuff to disprove. It will be lost on him though as he never reads the replies and just posts different stuff.

I notice the image name says Julianna Makis. The name 'Makis' also appears in some crap made up about Candian Doctors dying. Do you think henry Makow deliberately changes these names to make it harder for his suckers to find out he is duping them? It sure looks like it to me.

Yeah, we have already examined the data behind the nurse in the youtube video you just posted. He is full of it.

You may be right, you may be wrong. One guy's story to you about it proves nothing.

Comparison of COVID-19 Mortality Rates Among Adults Aged ?65 Years Who Were Unvaccinated and Those Who Received a Bivalent Booster Dose Within the Preceding 6 Months - 20 U.S. Jurisdictions, September 18, 2022-April 1, 2023

"Higher mortality rates were observed among unvaccinated persons during all three periods of Omicron lineage predominance (Table). In time-stratified analyses comparing mortality rates among unvaccinated persons with those among vaccinated persons 2 weeks-2 months after receipt of a bivalent booster dose, mortality RRs significantly declined from 16.3 during the BA.5-predominant period to 8.4 during the XBB.1.5-predominant period, representing a modest reduction in crude vaccine effectiveness from 94% to 88%."

"The chambers judge then reviewed the prior litigation conduct of Dr. Makis, both before the Court and before various tribunals: reasons at paras. 71-80. He noted that Dr. Makis had launched many proceedings and appeals, all of them relating to the issues with his employment which were the subject of the three Queen's Bench actions he had commenced. The review revealed unsuccessful appeals, unsubstantiated allegations, scandalous and inflammatory language, "litigating for a political purpose" and escalating proceedings. The chambers judge found broad court access restrictions were called for."

Agreed, and I could well be wrong. I hope not, but things have happened in the past where something was thought to be safe and only noticed over time. In this case you never know if the person saying not to say anything is just an idiot or really trying to prevent people knowing about an issue.

Sometimes people don't want to make waves for political reasons for their own job as much as anything else. I have worked in places where things go wrong and people want to pretend there is nothing wrong in case it casts any unfavorable light on them and ignore the problem.

Seabreeze.com.au isn't about this stuff.

Sorry for the trouble, it's been clearly stated before about our Covid/Vaccine discussion policy.

You'll need to take any vaccine discussion to another site/app.
