About two years ago maybe longer we were surfing down at Secret Harbour wasn't the best a bit side shore and lumpy but waves were ok.
Mate swore he saw a fin I didn't, 10mins later the SLS in the rib came up to us to warn us of a sighting and we should think about going in.
Heaps of people didn't, we did.
I'm not willing to risk getting injured or killed. No bravado here.
At the end of the day it's your choice if you want to get fined or not, no matter what the law is.
Ah, so you're saying that we can choose to be fined or not, regardless of the law?
Next time you go swimming at the beach and are not keeping between the flags, you can ask to be fined, corporal bendover.
That should satisfy your craving for daddy approval.
It's not our choice to be fined. It's the choice of the people you seek some sort of daddy-issue approval from, that chose to hand out fines.
So why should we not be fined for not swimming between the flags?
Swimming between the flags is the safest place to be in the water at the beach.
You feel you can assess the risk to yourself and not swim between the flags???
BS! You're not entitled to make that decision for yourself.
Think of all the rescue service people you're putting at risk, as they now have to come and rescue you, and the medical teams you'll be traumatizing because you drowned and couldn't be revived.
So many of you guys can't logic yourselves out of a wet paper bag.
