that matches my theory that you need to take off 10 knots from the seaway station to get the "real" wind on the goldy.

last 3 days best wind has been between 10am and 3pm. that's the window i'm aiming for tomorrow.

looking at the bom model redcliffe might have the goods though.



The locals refer to this as the morning and afternoon shift.

This time of year the southerlies tend to drop of in the arvos.
seems midday is prob the best, still i got out for abit of a sail in the arvo today

Where do you find those arrow maps Justin?
I prowled the BOM and I could only find some big ones, but not just for the bay.

well i planed at VP but only a couple of times. the 95lt wave board was just too lilttle for the 10-15 knots.

canna wait for the freestyle board to be finished.

again the map was on the money.

www.bom.gov.au/marine/wind.shtml

you get the bay view when looking at 1 or 2 days. the 3-7 days gives SEQ map.

to be honest the maps are almost exactly the same as seabreeze.

i will be interested to see how they deal with the NE seabreezes in summer.
