July is a good month
So far 3 good days
A Northerly at Kirra
A Westerly at Wello
A southerly at Shearwater
And more green arrows

it's amazing how 3 months of crap conditions can be forgotten with one good session. gotta love the buzz

Looking out my office window - it looks like 15 knots and building off Manly - the little boats are just starting to get beaten up a bit!

Still quite southerly.

Ah Well - Hi Ho Hi Ho - its off to work I go !

haha davecta - very much so!

Bowsa and I got a good session down at currumbin yesterday off the front beach - wasnt really working in the alley as it was too offshore, but got some good ones out front. certain circumstances meant i didnt even have my waveboard so took the freestyle out in the waves to give it a tester - it went suprisingly well!

Anyway - not going to make it down today unfortunately - its looking super good!

have fun guys - bust a forward for me :)

peace.

yep, stuck at work too!

marine service model had it stronger today than yesterday. another tick for them getting it on the money yesterday.

i found this on the site.

"These wind forecasts are produced from computer models and may not always reflect official forecasts, especially in the vicinity of weather fronts, tropical cyclones or in rapidly changing conditions. As they contain no input from weather forecasters"

ahhhh... no human intervention!

^ They need a confidence factor.

Like I am 100% confident I will be at work Mon-Fri

Also, see how the wind drops off on Saturday? That's when I pick up new gear. Apologies.

Went to The Grand this arvo...certainly wasn't pumping there. 12-15kts with the occasional 18kt short gust.

Queens beach was very average this arvo.
Got on the plane with a 6.0 on the way out.
Dredged all the way back.

that matches my theory that you need to take off 10 knots from the seaway station to get the "real" wind on the goldy.

last 3 days best wind has been between 10am and 3pm. that's the window i'm aiming for tomorrow.

looking at the bom model redcliffe might have the goods though.
