I think its a good question.
I have already used a picture where I didn't have any proof the girl windsurfs.
I just wanted to start the thread a bit different in that I wanted to show what windsurf girls have achieved.
I remember Jennifer Henderson saying in a video that girls who wanted to progress at wave sailing had the problem that guys would see that she was a chick and drop in on her wave - which made it harder for her to progress.
There was only enough wind at Hookipa to run a certain amount of heats one year, so they didn't run the women's event and just ran the men's event. I thought Kelly Moore would have likely won a World Championship if the event had gone ahead.
So I think attitudes to female windsurfers is why its a good question.
I think it would be better if female windsurfers were not disappointed too much by male windsurfers. I'm not in favour of censorship, but think that self-censorship is a good thing at times.
