Ok boys,
Pitching the idea to the boss, he asked a few questions. 1- We need to have a big contour sticker on the board and during the video/edit/doco we need to have some mention of contour on it, maybe at the beginning we can have a little thing that says shot 100% with Contour. He likes the idea but obviously as a business man he wants to see a return out of his investment.
If he sends us some tshirts, I'll surf in it when I ride the board.
same goes for Laurie too, c'mon Laurie cough up some seabreeze shirts.
I think those request are pretty reasonable and don't think anyone would object. Probably a good idea to plug companiesthat helped up front anyway. We could even do a little explanation at the beginning and explain what we did and who helped?

mchenry here is what i would put to your boss....how about posting our clips as it goes along the legend chain,people then can see that you dont have to be under 18 to work technology (because CONTOUR CAMERAS MAKE LIFE A SEABREEZE)
mchenry this will be going for a few months so your boss should give you a pay rise as of now
also we will be filming a section with the disabled surfers association and all of the board being shaped, from computer program to surfing.
sp i have sent emails to 20 companies so far and have had replies from 12
so im confident people will give us free **** to be associated with a good cause. i more want them to donate to the disabled surfers....hoping a welding company might jump on and make a few of those beach wheel chairs for the frothers
