interesting point you make there smh - the beaches have lost so much sand its scary - but we now have some beautiful deep channels so things are looking good. Weird to surf a beachie again today - its been ages since I had a play in one. So much duck diving !

Scotty I would be offended if you did not drop in for a surf on yr way past - it would be a pleasure to take you to some of the spots you used to hang it yrs ago. I am sure you will not be disappointed

Today it was absolutely smoking.........unreal day out. Although I took 4 on the head late in the day with the first two giving me the biggest beating I have had in a long time. It farrrken hurt. No photos to share sadly as I had a nightmare with them - lets call it user error and leave it at that. Not happy. Top w/e of waves though. 2 days of absolute perfection and plenty to go round. I love winter. The new board is loving the bigger stuff. Hope you all getting some.

As for the Ireland bet Scotty it went tits up....still a good w/e on the punt though

Epic waves today, best surf in a long time. Even better than Iggy, not as big but soooo long. Like having a 30ft long waist to head high 1/4 pipe on a conveyer belt. 5 blokes out and nice and consistent. Completely and utterly surfed out.

Hey Ted it looks like the shutter speed is to slow, did you try sports mode, or has it got a shutter priority
if using any zoom mode or zoom lens on a camera it will enhance camera shake, try faster shutter or tripod. just trying to help you

Cheers for the tip Weiry - it was essentially user error....I was trying to do three things at once when that set came through and the light was low and I just grabbed the camera and started clicking without checking the mode I was in (no time) was guttered as my neighbour got well and truly slotted and I have 8 frames of him all blurry!!!!!

Mate that was speed blur!

Nice waves today 3ft and fun, but absolutely F in freezing this morning......
