Cracker morning with mac & LM, some beut 2' sliders with some sets on the larger side, not too many in the water & enough space to get most waves we wanted. Rabbit came cruising by after a long ride from Snapper almost through to the rocks at GM. Mac had some sweet rides & the Cruiser performed floorlessly in the conditions it was designed for.
I almost had an incident with the current world champ, as he ripped shreds out of a bomb wave he shot into a massive 360 air dismount landing right next to me, wish I'd had my Gopro, would have been a cracker cover shot, had a brief chat, gave him some pointers & sent him on his way.
All in all we had a great morning, oh & I scored a bargain on a new steamer at Kirra Surf too.
