How good is it without Tom Waterhouse, didn't take long for public opinion to come in.

Ch 9 announced on Wednesday that Waterhouse will be part of the commentary team. There is a hearing currently being held by the Federal Parliament gambling reform committee of which Mr Waterhouse declined an offer to appear.

It was verging on cash for comments like John Laws and Alan Jones previously. I like a punt such as backing Manly to win the comp, however in a 7pm timeslot I don't think it is appropriate for young viewers to be subject to constant adds & talking of betting. Alcohol advertising is not allowed in that time slot.

That's my rant for the day!!

I have somehow got the wife to allow me to change the foxtel subscription to get Fox sports and in doing so drop the E channel and 1000 cartoon channels for the grommette.

Geez I feel guilty, I'm sure though when I watch the cowboys beat the warriors this week I'll feel ok again.
