and at 17 he made australian school boys
That's usually the age Weiry. You can just tell he is a champion bloke.
mate they dont come much better than sam, he is a very cool man
Scotty88 said... Is his background Torres Strait ?
yes
He was bellboy at my former step sisters wedding circa 92. Groom was from Torres Strait and a deadset champion bloke and too good for my former step sister.
Weiry you wouldn't have worked at the college a few years back with a young bloke named Xavier from Victoria . He worked for me for 3 years after leaving Rocky . Top bloke .
Used to tell me story's about a young Dave Taylor practicing his tackling technique on trees in the driveway . Full grown trees and used to hit them so hard the trees would shake .

Sam would have been 7 at the wedding. The groom's name was Marza. I didn't see Marza much as I was not a huge fan of my 3 ugly step sisters. Mum told me a few years ago that Sam was the bell boy. Then again, my 3 ugly former step sisters told plenty pork pies. As Sam and Marza were both from Torres Strait I tend to believe it was true. Btw, if I looked like J.Hawkins I would fark myself stupid.

no i got to the collage after Dave. but dave did live at the house i had, he would come back home for BBQ's and drown the young guys( u/20s) in the pool, he is one big mother and also a nice bloke but so are all the boys what would come around or lived with us, i would tell the boys at collage stories about the footballers, they loved it not football stuff but funny things like
how they looked what practical jokes they would get up to what scared them how they ate (Dave)
Why , why , why have the AFL started the season with a split round
Big mistake IMO , here we are all the supporters busting our gut to see the season start , what happens split the round making me wait another week to see the hawks go round , majorly pissed off Meanwhile the NRL gets the season away to a great start with some top opening round games .
Thats because there is nothing else to do in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perf or Brisy. Has Tasy got a team ? if so, boring there as well.
No no Tassie team as yet , is supposed to be the next location if any expansion occurs
We get the Hawks playing home games in northern Tassie and the kangaroos playing home games in southern Tassie .AFL is like a religion down here , very serious about their footy .
Ted the Kiwi said... Dazzler - how did your daughter enjoy her first match? A shame those cheating Queenslanders stole the match from us
She loved it, too hot to wear her jumper so she wore her Sea Ealges T-Shirt instead.
Also had her first train ride - big day for a 3 yr old.
Cracker of a game Titans just held on, a couple of things either way & the game goes the other way, Tafua missing the grubber, Lyon kicking the goal & not hitting the post etc. Credit to the Titans they have a massive team across the park and Albert Kelly appears to be going ok at 7. Not convinced on Zillman, solid player but no game breaker - surprised they signed him to a 5 year deal.
It was scorching hot and kick-off and by the end of the game both terms looked fatigued with a lot of cramping.
Good crowd of about 15 - 17 thousand and I reckon there were more Manly jumpers than Titans however crowd was in favour of the home team. A lot of ex-Nth Beaches people on the Coast.
Well i am a wee bit tempted to punch the shizzer out of 20 bucks on the horses mac[}:)] Melbo are it but an upset punt might be the ticket to bali or makaha
