You justify everything I've said Gav. Unless you are too dumb to realise it. Obviously you don't care about the rules. We could go somewhere quiet and talk about it. Maybe we could be friends if I decide it will be okay .

No wonder I rarely read this **** anymore, have a listen to yourselves. "Boo hoo hoo, i got snaked" who fu#ken cares. This forum has lost it, and so has this Localiser bloke. If its gonna be like this, I think we should encourage surf rage, might get these whinging f#cks out of our already crowded line ups

Would be funny if it wasn't so serious.

You must have been sniffing Wayne Deane's undies.

My Rules are;
10. No local crap; If I'm paddling over a big set dont paddle over the top of me at 90 degrees, tell me to get out of the F&&&k'n way and both of us go over the falls. Don't paddle to the left over the top of me to stop me getting on the wave, laugh your head off while you call your mate on to the wave. Don't drop in on me and when I put my hand accidently on her backside to avoid a collision, have your local friends abuse the absolute crap out of me and claim I was pushing her. I'm very hard to intimidate

This is the bit i like. Any picks of her butt

Is fondling someone when they drop in just that, or is it far game
There should be a rule on that

So did I SandS, but it appears that there's a heap of them. Someone needs to tell them it's spelled water not warter. It's actually been quite amusing as long as it's not purposefully threatening, then by my understanding legally it's called cyber bullying, the laws of which are not just restricted for application to adolescents.

Reading this forum was like experiencing surf rage first hand.

It appears that the popular vote from both sides is to maintain surf-rage at current levels.

Good to see we have so many intelligent surfers from both sides keeping the rage alive,,, excuse me while I vomit.

IMO respect is not freely given but is earnt, if locals want respect they should show some and if visitors want respect they should also show some. Dropping in, snaking, wave hogging ect will not earn respect no matter if your a local or a visitor!

Unfortunately this is not how it happens in the real world at popular surf spots but it would be nice if it did.

I don't think anyone would turn up at a pub they don't normally drink at and take a bar stool from one of the locals would they? But I haven't been to a pub that a local would say pi$$ of mate you can't drink here and steel your bar stool either.

Just my thoughts

I'd like to thank you all on behalf of The Swinburne University's Psychology department for taking part in an impromptu survey. We deliberately posted controversal remarks that had very logical and ethical aspects within all the posts. The idea was to determine the flexibility of the mind and the ability to think as an individual.

High likelihood of Type 1 error at work here. There are spelling mistakes too. 3/10

If you are not a local, how do you tell if someone is a local? To assume everyone is a local is giving the locals an advantage by default.

I find this funny, it's not meant to upset anyone although it probably will; Usually the locals are the ones behaving badly as they feel they have the numbers to back them up. How often do 1 or 2 people attack the locals?

To assist in identifying locals I have had 3000 shirts printed in various sizes and colors with "PISS OF TOURISTS BUT LEAVE THE GOOD LOOKING WOMEN" on the front.

I will pass them out at a break near you as soon as I can.

Reminds me motoring holiday I took with the Mrs some years ago up the east coast. We stayed at Bateman's for a couple of days and the chickie on reception at our motel had a T-Shirt that said "Locals Only" on the front and...F**K off Tourists" on the back. Nice. .

I have always found that if you paddle straight out to any random surf spot that is particularly "going off" and you paddle straight to the inside takeoff zone and say "next ones mine", you will soon get acquainted with the locals very quickly.

So you are saying the locals are aggressive when they feel like it?

It seems that many of you are justifying what localiser said by all your angry, spiteful and aggressive responses.

Now you'll give me a mouthful.

So predictable. Enjoy yourselves

Honestly if you can't tell who's a local by the first glance , you really shouldn't be out there.
