Hi Lacey, why 126 and not the 140? Dave
I have a Bark 126 and was considering the 140 by 275.

I paddled saturday one stage of 43km in the 220km 11city flatwater SUPrace in Holland on the new 14x24,75 as a stand in for team Fanatic.
I,m coming from a 2012 14Flatwater and my board is more stable, but the new 24,75 is for its width and the start still very balanced and imo way better as last years 14x25.the board is pretty fast and I could keep up much easier a higher speed as I normally can on my own board although I struggled the whole 5 and an half hour race to find the sweet spot for my feet.
There wasnt much wind so I have no idea how it responds on it, but what I like a lot about the nose is that its a true drafting machine.
As soon as you put your nose at someones tail it just stays there and as soon as you might pop out of the V behind the board in front of you the nose puts it back in like on autopilot (wich is handy because i,m a poor drafter).
Another thing I liked are the new pads: On the long races I always get numb feet, but not on this board while the pad is a lot more grippy as last years one that was imo too slippery.
I already ordered a Sprint 14x26 and a Allstar12.6x26.5 but those Fanatics made a huge step forward for flatwater racing!

It's great everyone is liking the New boards and its great that people can buy one board that is good on the flat and flys DW and also loves any kind of lumpy bumpy stuff!!

Here is a vid that was posted a while ago that might get you pumped to get the board out for a DW paddle!!

Just got a flying objects 14'x30" board bag for my new 14'x27.25" falcon. Very pleased with the fit. :)
Really nice snug fit around the nose. Great having the sinch straps around the edges too.

:) :)

Ha ha ha ha ha.
From top left:
7'4" Shane Stedman mini-mal(great buy on ebay in immaculate condition)
6'6" X 20.5" swallow tail hybrid fishy thingy(my first surfboard)
6'2" x 20.25" Jackson's Surfboards custom.
5'10" x 20.5" Jackson's Surfboards(run as a quad soooo loose and fast. Too fast for me now!! I'd need to loose 6kg to ride it again)
14' x 27.25" fanatic falcon
12'6" x 30 fanatic falcon(the other half's gear)
12'6" x 27 DC

I really need to get rid of some. I don't use them anymore. Would make room for a surf SUP................

Sure is Chris. :) I'm ashamed to admit I've only had it out a handful of times. Got a busted spoke at the moment and it badly needs a service.

Oh sure, you say that now.

Hey Kieran, did you use the new board today? It looked pretty messy, how did you find the stability? Anyone else that used a new Falcon feel free to comment too!

Yeah, I used the new 14 x 27.25" today. Very happy with it.
Testament to its stability is that I only fell in 4 times, 3 during the race and once at the finish in the surf. Conditions were the hardest I've ever experienced.
My fitness and ocean skills didn't do it justice. (By comparison Steve Morrison smashed it 10mins + faster on his new 14 x 24.75" on his first day on it!!!)
All up I was very happy with the way the board went. It handled the chop very well and didn't get dragged around, wallow or get swamped in the troughs at all. It's exactly the reason I went for the 27.25". It suits me very well as I'm not as agile or mobile when it comes to moving quickly up and down the board.
I think many people would be surprised at the stability of the 24.75" and I highly recommend that people try it before settling on the 27.25". You may surprise yourself!!!
The weight of the 27.25" is a benefit too, I haven't weighed it but its definitely a bit heavier than my Allstar but not in a bad way.
The falcon seems to really steady up once you get it up and moving. Picked up the available bumps very well.

5.30am Zeussmann??????. In the immortal words of Shakespeare. "Get thee to a training Session!" (Taking my son to one that's my excuse!!) You Qlders take it serious!!! Best time of the day however. Have Fun. I'll drop him and then go for a paddle on my 12'6" Naish MC Jav Carbon/Kevlar. See if I can get within 20 minutes of you guys times. You blokes ( and gals) really do have an incredible set up which is paying dividends. Congratulations and
Cheers Leroy
