Having a great session kiting between islands but after
-getting the boat stuck on the mud flats in big easter tides
-trying to push the boat off the mud flats and realising it aint moving
-the tide is still dropping
-the people laughing and waving when your stuck
-waiting in the dark for the tide to come in
-still waiting in the dark for the tide to come in
-pushing the boat in the dark knowing the amount of rays and bull sharks about

I dislike that late morning, nuclear, unyielding, offshore wind that refuses to shift into a moderate to fresh side/off seabreeze at midday (as if).....
just when there's a nice groundie pushing in and cranking solid on the reef......
and then having to witness this same epic swell being munted by this landbreeze into such complete flatness to rival Hilton's chest.
lol.

When you rock up to the beach on a day that the SB charts is saying a no-goer to find a nice SW 18-22 kts with nice laid back slabs of tidy swell rolling through..

Your thinking geez this looks like the 1st casual (ie: not nuking or not struggling) session for a while. You pump up smiling the whole time in no rush for a change then as you pull on your trusty 3 yr old harness and bang! Snappo! no more harness....

Still, glad it didn't happen on the water at least

when you have to do sh**s out at sea, because you cant be bothered to come in, land the kite and run to the public toilets.

Especially when you have a steamer on.

Lowering your kite when you are passing someone, then having them dive theirs at your head.

Retarded winds in the US, when it's on there's usually lightning, as it's pretty much all frontal.

That London is miles away from a decent kitebeach.

London traffic that holds you up on your way to Hayling Island.

UK traffic queues that occur for no obvious reason (ie you get to the front, and nothing is there)

I hate that kiting makes me think nasty things about the girlfriend I love.

This morning during a relaxing early morning spa she says 'What a beautiful morning, it's so still'

What an insensitive bitch!

It was a beautiful morning but did she have to remind me I wouldn't be kiting on my day off.....

hahahaha yeah possibly everywhere but here. today as well, windy everywhere except here. its so weird you can drive an hour each way (n or s) and it can be 15 to 20 or more but nothing here. you nearly wonder whether its worth even kitesurfing at all here sometimes.

Watching Aaron Hadlow video clips for an hour during lunch and then getting back to work - it rips you away from a fantasy world and back to a spreadsheet that you'll be staring at blankly for half an hour trying to come down.
