That ute is fantastic. Love the dual lever gearstick. It would be like controlling the thrust on a jumbo jet.

My vote for the ugliest current model car in the world would go to the Mazda 3 hatcback. A close second is the current model Toyota Corolla.

If we go back a bit then old Toyota Crowns were uglier.

Yeap Fiat definately haven't kept up their high quality design...
We had a Fiat 125 until 2003-2004 when I was in late high school. Exactly the same as the one in the pic- just don't feel like scanning an old photo.

It's since moved on and because the parental had the car since it was bought in 1971, the front of it is under the house on mounts being restored and electrically installed into the new back deck with the headlights working as lights etc.
Similar to the pic below but way better.

Dead-set the biggest small knobby compensation car I have yet seen..

Man that thing is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo arkn fuggly!!

On the positive side it's stereo/mp3 player would default to kickin out some ultra-funky 70's soft-core sounds I reckon!! Bow-wukka-bow-wukka-bow-wow-wow...

What is it with Seppos and obviously fake fuggly wood grain?? Why not have the bumper lookin like an imitation old-forrest felled tree?

the first pic is awesome, you then get to see that it is farkin ****... it looks like it has lines, it's a big truck and then all of a sudden you get a bit of a side view and it looks like each quarter comes from a different design, the floor is nice though. that would be alright to keep clean

the new wrx looks sweet with some mods but stock it lacks balls

Your F'ing kidding about the ford ute I hope!

The Holden ute is completely un-Australian because it cant carry any load, and you cant replace the stock tray with an aluminium or steel tradie's tray. So its just a show pony with no practical use.

The turbo ford ute on the other hand is a Trade man's ferrari. Plus the air con knobs dont fall off and the power steering doesnt leak, or just catch on fire for no apparent reason.

Go Ford!

Absolutely could not believe Toyo chose TRD the 1st time I saw the ad!! I actually wondered if it was a p!ss-take on Gruen!?

That marketing 'guru' is most likely flippin burgers for a living right about now..

It's always gonna be tough sell to get Ozzy's to accept that a Jap car is equivilant (or better) engineered than a 'true blue choice of two' - let alone go for a 6cyl - but really, calling it a bog... not smart.

What's next "The all new...all Australian made... Toyota - Vegemite packer!"

At least the Ford is keeping dickheads out of Holdens

For me I have grown up with Holdens.
My dad had an FJ panel van and an HG wagon.
To me I can see the link with Australia and the Holden.
Driving a Ford and flying the Aussie flag is just like driving a badged Pontiac in Septic land and flying the Septic flag.

Yeah, Holden is real true blue Aussie. Out of all the cars they flog off only one of them is made in Australia and uses a bunch of imported parts. Holden is 100% owned by General Motors which is 100% American.

Its great peddling and living the lie.

At least the Falcon has been a real Aussie car for a long time and Ford had the guts to build a soft 4x4 instead of importing one from Korea then whacking a huge Aussie flag on it.
