What I find interesting is that although we have some West Coasters against and some East Coasters for, the majority so far against the drum lines are from the east and the majority for, are from the west.

I'm not suggesting anything. Just making an observation.

Count me in.

Gee,.. just looking at the start of this post, see how fast all the shark huggers were off the mark shouting out their "NO".

And now they've used up their vote so they will have to invent more logins to try and make it look like they are in the majority.

Also note, when a tv station brings a camera out, they are equally fast and loud with their objections and NO vote, which makes it look like a huge majority are against a targeted cull.
In fact, the genuine shark huggers are a small minority but the apparent numbers are swelled by all the professional protesters and the the opportunist hangers on, such as the local labor leader Mark McGowan, who thinks there might be a vote in it if he sides with the apparent majority of people against the cull. Apparently he is fooled by the volume of their protestations rather than the logic of their argument.
I think he will find he is sadly mistaken on that matter and it will cost him votes at the next election when the matter is dragged up and made more public.
He sees the short term gain but not the long term pain.

1948, 1967, 1995, 97, 2000, 04, 05, 08, 10, 11, 11, 11, 12, 12, 13

These are all the numbers you need. The Government couldn't possibly stand by and do nothing.

I support the current Mitigation Strategy, especially now that Barnett has announced that large sharks would be kept for research as opposed to being disposed of offshore.

Bit slow there jb.
All your "no" mates were here in the first five minutes.
Now stop slothing around, and get with the plan or you will be fired!

No not without more testing/tagging first, find out why the f attacks have spiked in last couple of years. If its because there are more sharks and they are breeding well, ok cull them, if its not leave em alone, i will take my chances and live or not by that decision.

Now if they kill a ship load of them we will never know why will we. Then it will happen again in a few years when stocks are back up again, genius Colin.

Ahh the irony of QLD posters against, who have been kiting among drum lines for 40 years now.
