No, I don't know.

What do I know is that we want to keep the leash ( control ) not to be followed on one.
Who could legally arrive and live in this country and who can't.
This country could easy afford to accept 2 to 5.000 boat people every year and up to 1,000,000 skilled workers if needed.
It still takes next hundred years to reach similar density to EU.
But I sincere doubt that could afford 50,000 -100,000 arriving at random from Afghanistan Pakistan , Indonesia, China etc to be specific, without significant impact on standard of living ( safety, access to education and health care etc)

Existing loophole in immigration law allow for sneaking uncontrolled amount under mentioned above category.
Unless there is already barrier or limit that we don't know about ...
