I know there are some pretty amazing inventions that have been discovered since mankind started walking this earth, fire, penicillin, flight, wine casks or even battery operated power tools, but to me one of the greatest is the "hoodie" worn by millions, whether it be those robbing the local milk bar, mum's pushing the pram on their morning walk or even me to ward of the cold. Life would not be the same without it......

Those things are dysfunctional. You turn your head you can't see anything. You have to train your waist to fill in for your neck. There is a definite opportunity for improvement there.

The 'widget'



A widget is a device placed in a container of beer to manage the characteristics of the beer's head. The original widget was patented in Ireland by Guinness. The "floating widget" is found in cans of beer as a hollow plastic sphere, 3 cm in diameter (similar in appearance to a small table tennis ball) with a small hole in one side. The "rocket widget" is found in bottles, 7 cm in length with the small hole at the bottom

Ockanui, I've actually had the exact same thought about the humble T-shirt. Sometimes when it is cold, I just put 2 on.

The tracpad rocks - 3 finger up stroke and its all gone.....or just the swish. Cmd tab also does a good job. Gold

2-piece bikini's (liquorice ones too) , glass & cans for beer to fit in , eyeballs & mouths for the previous two coffee machines for after copius amounts of the first two , music , ( ears for that ) , surfboards , interthingamajiggynet for getting to the breeze here , Boardies & Wetties so my hairy arse crack isn't on the world's stage , Surf shops , so I can pass time away ..... got lots I'll come back later MJ
