That's how I felt all right.... but back to my normal smiling self after that sail and with the prospect of a good afternoon tomorrow.
Lets hope tomorrow performs, seabreeze and windfinder agree on a reasonable forecast (unusual but hopefully a good sign!)
See you then

We need to talk about becoming a windsurfing club, Mandurah cc says there are funds available for clubs. We need a comittee, Prez, V-Prez, Sec, Tresjh, given I am the Prez, I will put my hand up for Prez to start then we can vote etc.

We'll probably also need a constitution.
May be we should have a "club" meeting.
Do we need funds?
Joining fees?
Got to give the treasurer something to do.

I have all the relevant paperwork, we need to form a committee have a chat then invite the MCC Recreation officer for a meeting

Lets talk about this, I can see there could be some benefits, a few weeks back Nebs and I identified where our clubhouse should be. With the recent slump in property prices maybe it could be on

I think a gathering of all the members of the MM needs to be called.

When?
where?

Hey Bender, took the iSubmarine out today, it doesn't really slog that well does it.

I found it difficult to get planing, but when it gets up geez doesn't it go! It felt like I got a knot or two more than I would have on the other boards I've tried. 21 knots going upwind in very very marginal conditions isn't bad.

New fin went well also, did a lot of rearranging the rocks on the bottom, not a scratch on the fin, love that G10 feeling

Nah the Bendyman is hiding one board so he can sneak another into the shed hoping Da boss won't notice.

Nebs is an unsuspecting acomplice

Hope Mrs Bendyman dosn't read theis otherwise Mr Bendyman may be in a spot of bother

Re: Forming a Club, Informal discussions so far have indicated some interest for a Mandurah Windsurfing Club, so we need to dsicuss what this would mean, what committments would be needed etc. Views indicated the least committment and energy required the better, and that goals of the club would have to avoid creating politics and power plays among members (These being the biggest costs/disadvantages of becoming a club).

Re: The Mandurah Windsurfing Festival, the discussions appear to be suggesting that the costs of running and staging such an event could possibly outweigh any advantages, so I guess interest is starting to wane on that idea, once you start looking at all the realities.

Another discussion issue was the potential danger of windsurfing among crabbers and the need to keep it safe for them and us, and to give them a minimum of at least 20m, and to avoid collisions at all costs.
