Most useless thing my wife forced me into buying?

Many years ago " she who must be obeyed " forced me into buying an exercise bike. Not just an ordinary one but a fancy $800 one that sits in our garage and gathers dust. Lucky to be used for 10 hrs. Could have brought myself a 7.5mtr sail for that

Its Ok. Come on now, sit down, nice cup of tea and start to share your pain. Here, have a biscuit whilst you open up to your fellow sufferers. You're not alone. We're here for you. Another cup of tea and a hankie?

They make sofas more uncomfortable, they cost money, they look **** unless you don't sit on them.

It is possible to put cushions on a bed.. to make it look nice... but such that you have to put them all on the floor before you actually sleep on the ****er.

Grrr

This is pretty deep stuff. I detect real anger here. I'll bet those cushions that sit on your bed all day (when you're at work) and get thrown on the floor at night (when its dark and nobody can see them) weren't bought from Target or Big W. No...they're ''designer'' cushions - that attract what marketeers like to call a premium. Group hug for the cushion plumpers anyone? Anyone??

Does anyone else have "show pillows"??
Apparently there are pillows that are so good, that you can't even put your head on them becuase they are for show.......

she wasn't allowed cushions. I put my foot down.

Pillow are ok.

The distinction is that when you make a fist and pull a cushion down over it, it bounces off when you release. A pillow stays on your hand.

There was much testing performed in ikea to the amusement of the people in there

I sent him a little message

Dear ianw0712,

I wish you luck, but $100 might be a better price.
This gear is 20 years
old, except the boom. You're lucky the sails are still in one piece

Like I said, all the best, but you will probably
put someone off windsurfing for life.

He does not take kindly to criticism

Dear westozwind,

Your comments have been reported to ebay.

H20,
Maybe you should put your famous 1994 nudie run board up on e-bay...by Ianw0712's standards it's have to be worth at least $5,000.....

IF Ebay investigates I cannot see how they could side with the seller, so I would not worry. Besides you can use us as references to the fact that this person does not know the real value of what he has or he is trying to rip some poor unsuspecting person off.

Ebay can't do squat, and Westozwind has not broken any rules, merely giving the guy a friendly peice of advice to lower his price/expectataions "if" he wants to have any chance of getting rid of his trash.

Could you copy his entry and try to sell the imaginary product for half the price that he is trying to sell?

You wouldn't get any bids and you'd really piss him off

I didn't even bother trying to sell my Bombora eXit... I left it at my parents place for too long that it ended up getting cut in two and put out on the hard rubbish collection!

Hey if you don't want to buy ianw0712's windsurfing gear have a look at his other listings... you can buy yourself a train set! $19 for a Lima Dining Coach, must be a bargin!

A mate of mine asked if I could store his gear at my place for a week or two....7 years later I still have his Bombora Xit!
Perhaps I need to put it on e-bay?? I am sure the genuine DAKINE sticker which hides a ding and the colony of snails which live on the deck would bump the price up????
