wind should be up enough by time pack and get down the beach. Another muck around day for me- should nail those heli tacks 100%

does that mean, you'll try non-planing freestyle on those "crap" days
you got no excuses with that custom voodoo (:

not interested in lightwind freestyle. spent years doing it on a one design. i'd rather go to caloundra and sail a sup these days.

i tried to scab petes sup from him last week at the wanderers meet. massive fail!

I think there was a bit more than 10 knots today, I was actually thinking of changing down to the 4.5- lots of holes in the wind though.

What the hell is a cowboy? No seriously

You can write off mucking around in the light wind and just sit around online or on the beach and talk cr@p but it gives you good sail control and rig handling skills.

i'm not writting it off, just saying it has no interest for me. if it did i would have a formula board or one design as both are great for lightwind freestyle.

something i would much prefer in the 5-10 knot range is trying supping in the surf with a 5.8...... done it once and very keen to do it again.

cowboy? sounds like a kiters move. broke back somehting or other.

If guys were planning it was more than 10 knots thats for sure.
the wind can be very deceiving in a ENE or east dir always few knots more on the water.
wish my foot was 100%
