Forecast is for it get stronger. N doesn't seem to die off like the se's at Currumbin. I am on my way for 12.30.

NE got a habbit of blowing in morning and dying in arvo down there

I don't think ive seen such wierd forecast before... have we looked at the predictions for tomorrow, fri & sat... what's up with this bizzare wind?

Lads Mermaid Beach was sooooo good! Only one out, good wind, nice rolling ocean swell, decent size surf pushing in by 3, great session, totally spent, sleep on lounge time!

nah mate you can't have had any fun coz the spot you were at was not the right spot. was much better at another spot, you should have gone there and you would have had proper fun

Glad to see a few crew had a good time. Didn't really matter where you were as long as you got out.
Currumbin was OK with most spent before the wind eased. I had a 6m strung like a Banjo but probably 5.4 sort of wind. Was a little bit bumpy with the outgoing tide but should sleep well.
