Being a semi-local to the area above, Lana may wish to join me for some Australian beverages at the nearby Australian styled cafe more commonly known as "The Ox".
I am sure Lana would be most welcome there and her presence would go almost without notice by my fellow patrons of "The Ox".

some of you fellows are very very cynical - Of course there is a bevvy fo gorgeous young russian windsurfers - I post a link for you allonlinedating.russianlovematch.com/post/Russian-and-Ukrainian-Woman-are-Windsurf-Beauties.aspx

your computer might need a condom to protect it from harm when surfing this site but nonetheless I think the article shows our good friend Lana to be completely legit, and a very welcome addition to the gold coast windsurf community, which she will find to be a genial bunch of hands on enthusiasts.

Looks awesome ep (or should I say Lana ;)!! SW may go as well don't you think (far inland though)?! Forecast doesn't look too bad for Sunday. PM me when you're about to hit that spot.

I actually spoke to this ladies Australian friend on the phone and she asked if I could help her out to get into windsurfing while here in Australia.

While there have been some very funny comments I imagine Lana may find some of them a little on the racist side.

Hopefully when she reads the post again she will overlook it all as some fun between some very bored windsurfers with nothing else to do and not run for the hills.

If you guys want to see her on the beach - who wouldn't - perhaps we should just tone it down a smidge.

Thanks Guys.

Lana, if you like waves then, Currumbin will be great this weekend there is a good SE wind on its way. There are a couple of girls who also sail with us, if the wind is up there will be a good corwd sailing the bin, on a good day there will be up to 20 in the water. If the wind is from the SE Currumbin is the plasce, S wind then most of the beaches are great for waves on the first day of wind, for flate water sailing the train and S/water.
Most of us will be abl;e to help you out with locations

You're sh1tting me not? Apologies if we have offended (more sexist than racist I would say though) but when I see the words 21, Russian, and girl in the one sentence my internet troll alarm goes crazy.

Yeah, but with this one it did look to good to be true - I am sure Lana will forgive us as the russian babes in our sport have been a little scarce at times.

A New Russian is walking down the street when he meets his friend.

"That is fantastic new tie."

"Thanks. I pay $500 for it at shop X."

"You idiot! I saw in shop Y for $600!"

(BTW: My arms are still sore from session on Monday )

I too need to learn the english language as fluent as Lana, who suprisingly writes better english than alot of friends of english speaking countries. I wonder if my snap shot of my sweet back and rear just casually cavorting at the beach will arouse some interest in assisting me with some windsurfing queries to which I never actually reply to?!

Lucky i saw your post. There are a lot of predators who lurk around these windsurfing forums looking for vulnerable travelling windsurfers to take advantage off.
I would not take their advice. Send me a personal message with a recent photo and your mobile (cell) phone number and i will be your personal windsurf guide, body guard and friend.

Hi Moo Moo - please see my previous reply to lana above- you can consider it written specially for you.

It was Lana's billet who called me to ask if I could put her in touch with some windsurfers on the Gold Coast to sail with. I told her to make a post on this forum and she would be pointed in the right direction as everyone is always very helpful in that area.

Her billet sounded like a nice middle aged lady who I doubt dedicated much time in translating a lot of the feedback and henceforth I can't imagine there will be much of a response from Lana or her billet at this point.

If you want sarcasm perhaps I could suggest that since we have so many girls in the sport then we don't need to worry about attracting any more to it...

Scott decided a baptism of fire was the best start - still I havent seen a post as well subscribed since "bad behaviour at Wello" - which reminds me............ how are you boys all getting along up there ??? - we on the Gold coast have Lana! we are not going to send her up there for one thing!

Ah Ha ! HC "The Instigator" !!!

but seriously folks. I dont think there have been any mean responses to this thread. Just the "lads" being humourous and silly. I hope Lanas billet has interpereted this Aussie larrikinism as a part of understanding the psyche
of the locals. We just assume people know we're joking.

There is enough political correctness , this thread was lighted hearted and not mean, I would hope the billet understands that. Failing that we can always blame HC

I am a Russian girl (can pass for 21) and I am here to find a permanent residency visa husband. For a couple of years. But I am a mad keen windsurfer as I have lots of money from previous husbands and have brought my windsurfer all the way from Russia! ...Not. I live in Surfers Paradise and don't know where to go :( Is there anyone who windsurfs near here, I would love someone to show me good places to go to spend their money and some local knowledge of where to spend their money. I hope someone can answer and I can use my womanly charms at last.

Fixed.

For what it's worth, if you do a Google search for Svetlana Tsarik you can access her Facebook page which shows her as a very attractive Russian model who lives on the Gold Coast, has a number of 'friends' who are windsurfers and whose main interest is listed as 'men'.

Maybe we should all be taking her original post more seriously???????
