Very southern GC / North NSW for best wind u reckon the next few days with their cooler water?
Is anyone interested in a waveless currumbin tomorrow?
cooler waters is a good idea.
i'm taking a 4 day long weekend and heading to yamba.
also i got the replacement case for my gopro, so ready for action. and apple replaced my macbook battery, cause it swelled into a balloon, so in future i'll try and pack gopro + laptop when i go sailing.
so if you see me, and wanna get some footage of yourself trying tricks or even just perfecting gybes just give me a yell and i'm happy to take some footage and you can even check it out after the sail hehe. not hard to pick me out of the crowd, i sail pretty unique kit around these parts anyway.
hey, i need some phone numbers, guys. I';m still stuck oput int eh boonies trying to move, but i can get away to sail, if i know it's worth it.
I was about to go, but teh chart shows coolie dropping off, so i'm gonna stay here and do some more work, btu i'm keen to cath up tomorrow, if tghere is wind
my home is`02 66794107, or 0405 386155
yeah, i got close to heading down when it reached 16-18, left it for 30 mins and it died, so didn't bother going either, but I reckon tomorrow looks promising ![]()
ballina had a nice NE breeze today looking at the obs
It's coming up as it comes around.
Gesty reckons a NE is stronger when it comes around form a NW, so let's hope he's right.
Bleeding hot or what ?
yeps, i wait 30mins and make a decision
we could meet at currumbin, then decide whether to go further south (pottyville) if nothing materialises?
Evans Head and Ballina are both reading southerly and have been for at least an hour.
Byron is still Nth but not strong.
still at home.
the train is looking more and more like reality for me if it gets windy. will keep an eye on it
if the average reading reaches 16+ I'll head off
I went to Currumbin, and it was a nice day for the beach, evidenced by the number of people there, and the toal lack of any parks.
Oh well, I eventually parked on an island, and went for a ncie swim.
Maybe Tuesday afternoon at Ballina ??
I've never sailed there, so wouldn't mind a guide dog.
Maybe text me your phone numbers ?
12-15 at Coolie ont eh cahrt, seems windier than that, there was plenty onf wind on teh Tweed as I drove around, which is always a good sign.
Not sailign today, finishing moving instead, so I can freee up tomorrow. Better forecast for tomorrow, just won't be able to get a park !!
well today made the drive worth it. was well powered on the 5.9 all afternoon in front of whiting beach, was a bit overpowered up the top of the river behind the wall.
might hit the beach for some waves tomorrow, but the swell is pretty miniscule, i've seen bigger waves in backyard pools. and not as windy as the river.
