I got out at coal point lake maquarie Saturday afternoon on some wave gear. slalom gear would have been not much fun but the bump and jump gear was nice. The wind was shifting 90 degrees between SE and SW and throw in some horizontal pelting rain and a couple of times I could really only tell the wind was on my left but not much clue to the exact direction. It was bloody cold too. I muffed a couple of gybes when I went to transition I was to bloody stiff to move properly lol. I need a new wetty I think.
Conditions were wet cold and horrible and the wind was all over the place but it beats the absolute **** out of not sailing. But still, the southerly was a little disappointing up on the lake this time.
Would have been choppy off Coal!
