I weigh 105kg, my kite quiver is 14m, 12m and 10m, I was amazed when miss Jess (hi jess, where ever you are now) offered me her 5m kite on a super windy, gusty day, and I was lit up on it. A check of seabreeze graphs later revealed there were 50kn gusts in the time I was out.
Kiters can't kite gusts and over 25kn - BUSTED!

I'll revise that, 99% athiest, 1% agnostic. The universe is unquestionably a mavellous and mysterious place beyond humans capacity to imagine. I'm prepared to believe there is a god, however, I have yet to see proof.

I believe I have morals. The simplest question is how would I feel if some one did this to me. It's called empathy or the golden rule. Jesus talks about doing unto others, Hinduism and Buddhism share a philosophy called 'ahimsa' roughly meaning 'do no harm.' Indians talk about walking a mile in another moccasins.

I respect anyones right to their beliefs, but no one has the right to force those beliefs on another.

I respect your right to express your thoughts, but I really don't want to begin or engage in a theological discussion. I'm at work, have stuff to do and it always ends badly.

I can't post for a while, but I'm not avoiding the issue. I'll check back later.

I reiterate, I really dislike theological discussions.
Hitler was a catholic, there are numerous pictures of him attending mass, and in the presence of priests, bishops and holy men. The catholic church celebrated and venerated his birthday.

He was evil whilst masquerading as god faring.

A modern day example, Bill Gates, is wealthy enough to do as he pleases. He chooses to pour enormous amounts of his personal money into solving a myriad of problems in third world countries. He is an atheist. He is good without god.
Contrastingly, there are enough riches tied up in Vatican City to resolve many of the worlds serious problems, hunger, poverty, disease. The pope spends money defending child abusing priests instead. The catholic church has an insurance policy that pays out to victims of sexual assault by priests.

Homo sapiens did not evolve from monkeys, we share a common ancestor.

I respect everyone's right to their beliefs. Please allow me the same.
