That explains why you have no morals. I hope you return from your misguided path before it's too late. And if humans came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?
Now I'm really concerned, I don't want to open this discussion up, but I have to say it's possible to be good without god.
I'll revise that, 99% athiest, 1% agnostic. The universe is unquestionably a mavellous and mysterious place beyond humans capacity to imagine. I'm prepared to believe there is a god, however, I have yet to see proof.
I believe I have morals. The simplest question is how would I feel if some one did this to me. It's called empathy or the golden rule. Jesus talks about doing unto others, Hinduism and Buddhism share a philosophy called 'ahimsa' roughly meaning 'do no harm.' Indians talk about walking a mile in another moccasins.
I respect anyones right to their beliefs, but no one has the right to force those beliefs on another.
I respect your right to express your thoughts, but I really don't want to begin or engage in a theological discussion. I'm at work, have stuff to do and it always ends badly.
I can't post for a while, but I'm not avoiding the issue. I'll check back later.
Respectfully.
