Gestalt, I'm 50% sure you are pulling my leg for Lulz, and I'm tempted to call poe's law on your comment regardless. It did give me a laugh.
rationalwiki.org/wiki/Poe%27s_LawBut at the risk of being trolled, I'll bit anyway.
Water is a very fascinating, it expands when it freezes, and melts under compression, among many other tricks that no other chemical can match... But there is nothing in science under controlled conditions that gives evidence for bits of wire being attracted to subterranean bodies of H20.. It's basic high school chem and physics (to use that old gem).. Some Hydrogen and Oxygen aren't going to effect some twigs of Iron being waved about by a kooky charlatan with a silly face.. This is a solid theory, like gravity and evolution.. Only the ignorant, stupid or insane would not accept the facts... And there is no crime in ignorance..
Now, my understanding is that wells tap into the water table, I learnt in school that water tables are very vast, The Great Artesian Basin would be pretty hard to miss with a hole.. So you evidence can be discarded with simple probability and good guess work.. It's a big claim and a personal account is perhaps the least convincing way to convince anybody with a hint of rational skepticism (I put rational because of all the irrational skeptics on here).. Think of all the UFO nutters who are convinced they are Rapter Jesus, personal accounts are worth ditto..
What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence- Hitchens..
Now if your serious, which I'm 50% sure you are, maybe you should watch this who series..
happy holidays
