Early morning waves were 1 foot??

Bloody hell this is nearly 100 pages

Good swell, good wind, good banks this morning.

I bailed on an early surf to get ready for a meeting with a contractor.
The contractor cancelled.
Bertie is not happy

Backwash was almost as big as waves coming in. Everywhere looked crap and sharky

So those who couldn't make it for the early didn't miss out too much??

Yeah and the swells really dropped off in the last hour. Looks like it's going to be really flat tomorow. Not worth surfing so guys, use this time to get to work early and get stuff done!

Haha leg rooter! That's great. I've never heard that. Leg rooter! Oh gold! I usually call them 'dish lickers'. Leg rooter's better though.

I don't mean you specifically as a bloke, just as an alternative name for dog.

Surgery was 10th July Mick so yeah about 6 weeks. I've actually had the all clear for a couple of weeks now, but have just had my ring hanging out with work or the weather has been ****e.
When the next lot of hols due?

Just been checking it online. Doesn't sound crash hot. I spose I'll check it anyway...

I'm satisfied. I checked that 'new' spot before dawn... looked really small. Headed to well known pastures and couldn't get excited. U-turned to my starting point and was surprised by the rides on offer (yeah, it was small and inconsistent, but better than expected). Shame about the pre-pubescent prone shoulder hopper shutting down almost every wave I caught until he found others to hamper.

It has potential. I think I might have found my new local!

Having said that, I could only peer with envy at what is likely Zuke's stomping grounds off in the distance doing their thing in the off-shores.
