Because I go through boards too quickly. Once I know EXACTLY what I'm looking for in a board then I'll definitely be getting one shaped.
Swell has dropped a touch, and it is still too fat and too windy...
2nd car park is barely waist high in infrequent sets of one wave, and thirds has a nice bank but there are 20+ blokes on it, including an SUP and everyone seems to be dropping in on each other
I'd give it a miss, but reckon tomorrow will be smaller and more crowded - so will head down again mid arvo... yes I am desperate!!
2:20 - 3:45pm = Terrible: dropping swell, and although a couple of the banks had some shape - the wind and back-wash were killing it...

Bloody wind! I was trying to line up a sundowner but the wind is not backing off enough.

Bugger, this one is 6,3 x 18 1/2 x 2 3/8 Rusty Project Swallow tail. Nice board but a bit too small for me.
Don't worry weekend warriors , didnt really miss anything on thursday or friday either. Didn't even bother paddling out. Was just super fat and fairly crowded at the usual metro spots.

Few waves yesterday. I wasn't super motivated but found a spot with a few fast non-fat little waves. Got about 15 in an hour. Just gotta think outside the box. Didn't bother today, but I might take the dog for a swim later. Too cold to go in this morning.
Took the gondala for a paddle down the coast. Then home grabbed my fish and neat little surf in just my boardies. OMG that was soooooo cold. Only good point was two others came out and said that they only wore boardies cause they saw me in them. Jeez Suba your a fearless man to do thatS

Yeah was very quiet Zuke, there was two cars that rocked up as I was leaving. Beach was pretty gnarly too, wouldn't have wanted the tide any higher. I found a Suziki Sierra on my way back, upside down buried at the waterline with just 2/3 of it's wheels poking up through the sand.
