RG's new supermodel - a very curvacious lass ........ "All that Jazz"

"Quote" ...... the take anywhere mid length...the "all that jazz" is a new model...best in the 7'10" to 8'2" lengths it features a streamline plan shape...narrower tail width than my other mid lengths and a more drawn out nose template...this board will be a great traveller...the quad format will enable it to work well in a broad range of surf, construction is my masterflex method....stringerless with two bands of continuous fibreglass roving's, give the board a natural flex pattern, where the whole board flexes to your body weight through the turn..(.its available in standard construction as well,)....this is 6+6+6 not having a stringer I have saved weight...the strength is obtained through the roving's...its a method I have done for years from way back when we needed a stronger glassing method to keep the sailboards from snapping after flat landing jumps...after eliminating the stringers to test how strong the method was I realised the great flex that was achieved and started using the method in longboard and shortboard construction...the whole board flexes like a fishing rod...returning a beautiful smooth ride .... "Unquote"

I like it nice pigment and pin line. Never rode a 9 foot quad but had a mid length quad and it went good.

Think this fits well here,

Shaping legend (rip) terry Martin, shows you how to shape a noserider.

The Perfect 40-Minute Board with Terry Martin

Having started with wood as a lad in '50s San Diego, on through to shaping sleek Phil Edwards Models, to the now - where he finds himself an in-demand builder of boards of all denominations for Hobie- Terry Martin is the consummate craftsman. In this episode of TSJ/POV Shorts, Terry shapes a perfect traditional noserider, talking us through his philosphy and technique as he works. Terry was featured in a "Soundings" interview in TSJ 1
