In this case 100% true, a mate owns the property in Northern NSW and butchered it. Never seen grain in its life.

Good wholesome Oz bovine .... bone in bovine mind you .... I have a sweet whole slab of Striploin ageing bloody magnificently in the crisper .... and as long as it wasn't a length of cock - I don't care what the farker ate .... all Moo has to do is sizzle either like a highly polished bastard or Asea smoking Kirra bank .... bitta red salt , olive oil pepper farken heaven

Late November / early December road trip to Jervis Bay yielded little surfing, but lots of bbqing.
Foreshore camp ground at Huskison.
Arrival day late lunch on the gas hot plate.

Dinner of slow cooked chicken wings.

Next morning, late post "surf" breakfast
No surf, stand up in the creek.

Fired up the real thing for dinner.
Battery powered spit roast beef.

Windbreak required.
Post morning session breakfast day 2.

After single burner malfunction almost lead to disaster.

Had to improvise thunderstorm shelter for the dinner grill.

Protected the coals for the rib eyes.

Stoked up for post dinner fire.

Next day post morning session breakfast.

Having run away from Cave Beach previously, returned for another look.

Couldn't resist that despite 500m walk from the car park.
What looked like gentle maybe waist high stuff turned out to be overhead with howling offshore.
Two aspiring stand up surfers got blown out, turned, and severely hammered.
Attempts to negotiate the white water a second time failed.
Beaten but happy, returned for the next BBQ episode.

Maybe it wasn't rib eyes before.
Last morning post session breakfast.

Drove back half way home to Mallacoota, last night dinner on the gas hot plate.
Souvlaki lamb.

Not the most successful surf trip - howling easterly most of the time.
Got some good flat water non surf paddling done.
Great camp ground at Huskison, walk from the camp to water.
I think 160 spots, there was us and a lady in a caravan.
Hate to be there peak time.
But BBQ excellence!
