come lads. put yourselves in teds and other kiwis shoes.
they've forced to live in a country they hate - Australia.
Well done Steve Smith and Adam Voges....should be exciting last day...amazing how five days of cricket probably won't be decided until the last few hours....kind of like heats on teh tour nothing happens till the last five minutes and then everyone starts scoring 9's and 10's
This is too funny...
So what do they want us to do ? Run over and give him a reach around.
they clapped him at 100, congratulated on 200 and 250 but didn't run over and shake his man snake when they got him out cause they were celebrating with their team mates on the other side of the pitch..
He rushed off as they thought it might be lunch.
Also they congratulated him after play.. And the coach and support staff stood on the verandah and gave him a standing ovation when he got out.
And from Ross..
When I get out, I just walk off as quick as I can. I don't want to stay out there any longer than I have to," Taylor said."I got out on the far side of the boundary.
They were all congratulating them (Lyon and Wells). I am walking off as fast as I can to hopefully get a catch (when play resumed) - that wasn't to happen until after lunch."I am sure it was just a co-incidence more than anything.
..
Please give me break on the Kiwis are great sportsman....
Or explain to me how Chris Cairns and the other match fixing, perjuring, cheating Kiwis are such great national role models.
Playing a game to win is one thing but organizing the result and cheating not only yourself, the fans, your team mates and every cricket fan for financial gain is beyond anything done before.
Ok Sp fair comment about Chris Cairns ... how about a comment about this ....
The Director of Public Prosecutions was originally seeking to have rugby league identity John Elias, former Parramatta player Brad Murray, and Jai Ayoub, the son of Murray's manager Sam Ayoub, face a joint hearing. The trio was allegedly involved in a betting plunge on the Cowboys to open the scoring by a penalty kick in their match against the Canterbury Bulldogs in August 2010.

Sp just making the point that us kiwis will whinge and cry about anything. we know we are wrong but we still bang on about sh1t no matter how bitter we seem...yes we are known to abandon our country and make excuses when things do not go our way....!
its cool bazz...i have plenty of kiwi mates,i just have to talk slowly to them
it is nice for one of you blokes to admit the real reasons sometimes
Kiwi's are great sports just look at shining lights Sean Fitzpatrick and Richard Lowe probably the two dirtiest players to ever grace a rugby field....
Bad sportsmanship there Chrispy ... typical... You quoted me as saying something I never said or wrote ... on a public forum ..bad form mate ....gonna show it to my cuzzy bros while we load the Scaff truck tmorow...expect a visit...
Sp just making the point that Australian sportsman match fix as well....!
Yeah, in my book not the same at all mate.
Anyway on a brighter note,
i'm sure the Kiwis supporter like Bazz will be offering a hearty congrats.
Or should we whinge cause they haven't already...
MITCHELL Johnson has confirmed today is his last as an international cricketer.
One of Australia’s greatest ever fast bowlers has decided to walk away after contemplating retirement intensely for the past couple of months. An emotional Johnson broke down in tears after day four, and last night told teammates of his decision in the dressing rooms, where players remained for more than two hours
Johnson was feared for his electrifying pace and ability to terrify batsmen — with the likes of Jonathan Trott, Graeme Swann and Matt Prior all virtually forced into retirement after the carnage that was the 2013-14 Ashes.
He sits behind only Dennis Lillee (355), Glenn McGrath (563) and Shane Warne (708) on the list of Australia’s greatest wicket-takers.One of cricket’s genuine superstars,
Johnson was part of the 2007 World Cup-winning squad before starring in Australia’s champion XI earlier this year at the MCG.

Richard Loe on Paul Carozza some 20 odd years ago.
I'll never forget that cheap shot elbow to break his cheek bone.

Tux.. I don't condone Thuggery/bad sportsmanship in any sport , but if you want a really good example of poor sportsmanship take a look in your own back yard ... AFL and the booing of an Aboriginal player ... sort of takes the gloss off the game.
Congratulations to Australia if they win the cricket, its been a entertaining enjoyable game which is what sport is all about.

If you live here it is your backyard 2.
Back on topic here kids..................
Mitch Johnson retiring.
Just read this comment on Cricifno:
"MJ won the Australian cricketer of the year award only last year and is calling it a day at a good time. He will be remembered for his fierce bouncers, silky long hair, trendy mustache and tattoos but most of all for being a great Aussie ambassador of pace bowling. "

i will never forget that ashes Pup,he smashed them
Good luck mj.
Thats ashes series was awesome thanks to mj
i agree....and as a cricket hater....well i i was excited for every ball that was delivered.....he should have perhaps retired then
Geezus talk about going out with wimper...NZ should be fined for not having a crack....321 in 48 on the wicket was very doable
Anyone been watching the pink ball test???
How's it going?
Looking good at the moment, Stark loves pink
Yeah, Sure is more interesting then a batathon like perf.
I don't mind the idea, the pink ball is easy to see on TV does a bit for the bowlers by the look of it and looks like we should get a result. Good entertainment.
