Humility has never really been a word widely used in the context of the Australian vocab when it comes to sport. Still It can not be nice to hear a bunch of ex Aussie legend test players calling it shameless disgraceful behaviour. They have been describing the last 2.5 years of Australian cricket like that and had been hoping for a new change with the new captain. It's cool if that's the way you want to play your sport but most like to play for fun first. Is that really the way you want the players to portray themselves to the children of the nation? Cricket used to be played a lot more decently in the old days. Maybe since you stopped winning you forgot????

Nah Ted they replaced the centre block a couple of years back entirely .... they went back to the early days of mud from a place called Harvey down south

Test matches you idiot. No one cares about the 50 over game these days or Souths once glorious years except those stuck in the 80/90's. It's all about the Ashes (which you are crap at these days) and 20/20.

sadly i have to agree with ted...when warner got to 200 the kiwis gave recognition and respect.

since ponting was captain,the aussies have been a disgrace when it comes to sportsmanship.



when all that is said and done...the kiwis have the most pathetic supporters who lack sportsmanship,plus true grit and are known turncoats when their sides are losing.

The Ashes Chispy is the last of the true cricketing games left - a shame as test cricket had a potentially good future but some teams decided to join the mafia at the expense of all other nations and any hope of something resembling a balanced future for the sport. Aussies and every other team worldwide plays with this type of intensity thats the modern game.
before your time O great one in the seventies I've seen aussie bowlers pull the fist back about to put one on the opposition chin.
its been like that since i can remember, "the intensity that is".

we never drink with opposition in the middle of a test series now,i don't know who's call that is but thats the way it is.
there wouldn't be a OZ captain out there telling their players not to congratulate the opposition for doing well.


who knows whats going on in the centre, you don't know the mood of the ,wicket keeper

bowlers, captain ,even umpire, yes umpire that controls things if its heated.

i don't think it was heated but players don't have to congratulate the opposition.

if the Kiwis and media are sooking and judging that they need to harden the **** up.
